Hi all, I'm an Irish scenic artist living in Melbourne for the last 17 year and I've recently taken over the lease on this great house in Kew. The room I want to rent is $210 for a single and $280 for a couple. The house has a lot of great qualities, a huge back garden with a vegi patch and barbeque, large back porch, and a very pretty front garden. The house is very safe and secure and the number 48 tram is just across the street. There's a little shopping strip just around the corner with everything you need from cafes, pizza joints and fruit/ veg store...etc.
I am looking for a housemate to move into Hartwood St with me. The room is available from August 1st (negotiable). The room is 3.4m by 3m (approx) and fits a single bed and desk comfortably. The house is approx. 200m from the 48 tram and is the same distance walk to the local shops. It has an outdoor area with a gate to the car spots (comes with two so one each). You can enter through the back gate or through the entrance which you can only be buzzed in through (so quite secure). I have the whole house furnished with a brand new fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, air con and an older heater. The living room, bathroom and kitchen are completely furnished so no need to bring anything but your bed with you. I am currently studying and working which takes up most of my time. I do however like to go out with friends and have a few drinks on the weekend. I do like to have friends over and hopefully this won't bother you but I also do like to relax in my bedroom. I am looking for someone who I can possibly share dinners with and watch tv with but also can have my own space. I'm looking to live with someone who has a similar lifestyle to me (either student or professional) and someone that likes to have fun on the weekends as well.
