Less than a 2 minute walk from the train station! The house is a cozy two story place. My bedroom is downstairs, as is the laundry. Upstairs there is another bedroom with carpet floor. The bathroom is separate from the bedroom however I have my own ensuite so it's all yours. The living area and kitchen are all upstairs also, and there is a decent sized patio area. The upstairs living area is all sun-lit during the day and is really quite nice. The house will be furnished, all you would need to furnish is your bedroom. There is a split system air conditioning unit in the bedroom, and one in the lounge area. There is also intercom to the front door so you can see who's there before running downstairs to answer it! Coles and woolies are within walking distance, and there are small grocery stores and fast food right around the corner. There is plenty of parking space both in the drive and on the road. We get on with anyone just ask that you keep your belongings in your room and the common areas clean. The Rooms There are TWO rooms available. Room One This room comes semi furnished with a double bed, shelf and desk. You may wish to provide a new mattress as this one is quite hard. There are storage drawers underneath the bed and a rack can be provided for hanging up clothes if you wish. Your room also has its own access key and lock so you can keep your items safe. Room Two This room features built in cupboards and comes unfurnished however we can put a single bed in this room if you would like otherwise all furnishing needs to be provided. Both rooms are large, warm and carpeted. They both come with their own lock if you wanted but we are a tight nit house and everyone gets along with everyone. The Area We are located on the backside of Sycamore reserve which is great for running around and exercising. There is a cricket club opposite us as well as a bike park. This property is really good because its a spacious living area with a big back yard, and cheap rent. It is in a good location because we are only 5 or 10 mins from RMIT university and 10-15Mins from LaTrobe. We have shops trains and trams all around us. It keeps cool in the summer and the ducted heating works great in winter. Bills for water, gas and electricity are all fairly low and inexpensive. The room available has room for a queen size bed and has a built in robe. The flatmate that moves in will share a big bathroom and separate toilet with one other flatmate, Darcy. The kitchen is shared and all bills are split evenly. We have a gardener that comes once a month and that is also split between all of us. You can use my espresso machine, outdoor BBQ, pots, pans, mugs, cutlery, rice cooker, baking stuff, robot, vacuum cleaner, WM, etc but you will need to compromise to clean them once you finish using them. We will clean the house and pool together and/or have a cleaning roster. There are 2 rooms available for rent, Room 1 has its own desk and chair + roof fan and AV connection. It also has great storage with a WIL and own powder room. Room 2, is the biggest and has AC, desk, chair, coffee table and couches.
