My name is Sarah and I am looking for someone to share my house with me! 😊 (More photos to come). This is a large house: there are two bedrooms plus a third small room which I used for storing things but also has the room for a blow up mattress for guests. The room available is furnished with a new queen bed and bedside tables however if you have your own furniture we can make arrangements. There are no built-ins in that room however I have shelves in the spare room - and if you bought a clothes rack that whole spare room can be used as a walk in wardrobe (I have a full length mirror in there too). The bathroom and kitchen have been newly renovated and are fresh and modern; the shower is huge and the loungeroom is very spacious with timber floorboards. The house is decorated nicely and furnished with two large sofas, a small sofa, bookshelves, fridge, washing machine, lamps, plants, ottomans etc. I have everything you’d need except a microwave which is on my list of things to buy! The backyard is very large with nice views from the large upstairs balcony. Downstairs is a laundry, second toilet and a lot of space under the house. There is a carport I use but plenty of off street parking space. I live a few houses up from McDonalds, a Thai restaurant, salon, newsagents, chemist, butcher, bakery and a bus stop. Figtree Grove is only across the road... the location is fantastic and very convenient! The neighbours are friendly and quiet. I live with my dog Bronson who is a big dog but extremely friendly and affectionate, so you would need to be a dog person who doesn’t mind his cuddles and are happy to share living with him. He’s very loving and affectionate. I am very friendly and easygoing and always laughing and happy. I rarely have friends over and I enjoy a chat and a wine but am a quiet roommate and am tidy. I am very happy, respectful, polite and laid back, as long as we all respect one another 😊 Rent is due every Tuesday. You don’t need to be on the lease but I do require one weeks rent in advance as a bond to be paid before moving in. I am very respectful of others privacy and always try hard to be a considerate room mate. I don’t have the internet on but it’s available and you’re welcome to. UOW, Tafe, CBD and Hospital are all within a 4km drive. Enjoy your own private dwelling, self-contained with private side entrance, separate from our house. Accommodation is clean, modern and relaxing with Reverse Cycle Air Con, a queen sized bed, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, tea & coffee. All bed linen, bath towels, hand towels, bath mat and tea towels are provided. We have even provided a woollen blanket which is nice to wrap up in so you can sit outside on your own entertaining deck during those cooler nights. The BBQ is yours to use as you wish, we have provided BBQ tools and everything you need to clean up afterwards. Figtree Beach Cabin is located in our backyard. Simply follow the footpath up to the backyard, your private entry is via the back gate (you will have to navigate a number of steps to get to the cabin as the cabin is significantly above street level). Once you've arrived and settled in, sit back and relax on your own private deck amongst the trees. We have travelled extensively and know what we do and don't like about accommodation we have previously stayed in. This is why we take real pride and care in offering accommodation that people immediately feel comfortable and relaxed in. The unit is super close to the city, the bathroom and kitchen are basically brand new and have been well looked after. There’s also a massive shared backyard which could be perfect for a veggie garden or to tan in come summer

The house is in an awesome location, in Coniston which is a 5 min drive to the centre of Wollongong. The train station is a 2min walk away and there is a bus stop across the road. It is also quick and easy to get on the highway. Figtree Grove shopping centre is a 5 min drive and a similar distance to other shopping centres in Wollongong (Aldi, Woolworths). There are lots of delivery services available too, just in case of a junk food craving. The house has 4 bedrooms- you would have one and me another. There are two spares, which you would be welcome to use for visitors or if you wanted to set up a study. The bedroom for rent looks quite small in the pics (it was hard to take a photo) but it would easily fit a queen/even a king with room for a desk, drawers and anything else you might need. It has a large built in with that contains drawers and good hanging space. The dimensions of the room are 3.6x3.3m. It is a beautiful light filled, sunny room with a fan. It has a tv port and a tv available if wanted. There is also a sunroom, which could serve as separate living area. The bathroom would be shared however, it is a bit of a funny old house with two extra toilets in the laundry. So you could have a toilet all of your own but would need to share the bathroom for the shower. There is an off street parking in the driveway or street parking. Water is included in the rent but other bills (electric, gas and internet) would be split. If you have no furniture, I do have a single bed frame (no mattress) and other bits and pieces that could be used to fill the room.
