As a HOMESHARER, you would volunteer 10 hours per week of assistance with land-care and food gardening, home care and maintenance (handyman/woman). Our home is in a very quiet, community-minded neighbourhood 4km from Nambour Bus and Rail Station, 30mins or less from beaches, university, National Parks. You will need a car. Nambour is a comfortable and convenient town with easy access to shops and services. No smoking, no pets, music by headphones. Friends and family cannot stay overnight. There is a thorough application, interview, referee and police check process. We are a 50's couple, fit, enjoy the gym and golf, and sport (fox sport TV Netflix available). All inclusive gas, water, Wifi and reasonable usage of electricity. The family have moved out and now we have a 4 bedroom home, that is a little empty. Our current flatmate's contract has expired and has now ventured on a holiday. You will have your own bathroom and built-in double-sized bedroom, can be furnished or unfurnished. We are looking for someone who respects our home, us and our two dogs Great Dane and Toy Poodle. We are also looking for someone who is mindful of keeping their room and bathroom clean. We also would like our housemate to pay the lodging on time. We are in a quiet location but very accessible to the Uni, Highway, Beach 20 mins away, 1 min from local shops and 3 mins from Nambour and the Big Pineapple/Woombye. We are a bunch of hard working, easy going people. We are always down for a chat, we are respectful and we expect the same from our new team member! Close to everything ( including KFC), it’s a huge house with plenty of room. The bedroom for rent is a reasonable size (you will fit a double bed easily). And and, we have a dishwasher.

I have only just bought this place, a big old 4 bedroom brick home with lots of open green space around it, (unfenced, sorry dog lovers) in a quiet neighbourhood, only 0.5 km to the Nambour Hospital (Image Flat side). It's not pretty but it's solid and roomy. My adult disabled son stays overnight one night most weekends, otherwise it's a pretty quiet and comfy place with a couple of different living areas and a patio with plenty of space. It's a five minute walk to the bus stop and cafes near the hospital. I have WIFI set up and data is unlimited (sadly still copper from the node). The neighbours are friendly and it's a pretty 'live and let live' neighbourhood.
About the house: Nestled in the Nambour hills, this conveniently located Queenslander is close to the hospital, public swimming pool, dog park, train station and town center. The Queenslander is quirky in style and is mostly furnished however there is room for more furniture and lockup storage downstairs if needed. There is three bedrooms, a shared recently renovated bathroom and an office/guestroom. A dog can be considered upon application. There is three months left on the lease but will be looking at renewing this. Ideal situation for clean, health conscious individuals. Must be working/student. Rent is 180per week for larger room.

The place is only about 10-15 minutes from Maroochydore, and probably about the same for Mooloolaba down the highway. I have unlimited internet and 3 lovely cats, one of which will definitely love you. The room can be furnished or semi-furnished or just completely empty. You will have a study nook which you could put up a room divider and it becomes your own area. There are two car spaces in the complex if you can get it, otherwise there is heaps of safe street parking. Woombye is a lovely little village and feels nice and safe. If you like to have a drink, the old pub is within walking distance :)
Quiet neighbourhood, private and carefree in a beautiful location. A well-treed creek with abundant wildlife right at your front door. Escape from pressures of the day in a huge king bedroom. All the benefits of a one bedroom unit without a separate kitchen. Let the worries of the day disappear as you enjoy an evening meal inside or out. There's no need to worry about having to share common areas if peace and quiet is what your seeking. There are 3 common areas from which to choose where you can put your feet up, turn on (or off) the tv, and just unwind. Space for peace and quiet, without the need to retreat to your sleeping den. Although we all need that extra little bit of solidarity every once in a while, so if you want to retreat a little further, bedrooms are also fitted with tv point, and usually a spare telstra tv box or chromecast. This house has a wonderful calming feel situated in the Old Orchard Estate. No through traffic in a no-through lane with 4 bay parking, used primarily by lane residents and thier guests. The kitchen is rarely used and dirty dishes are a thing of the past. If you're into gardening and growing your own veges, there is plenty of full sun soil beds and irrigation sprinkler system. Both rooms comfortably fit a queen bed, have a built in wardrobes with sliding door and double mirror. Whether or not you have your own bedroom furnishings to bring along, we can accomodate; supply or vacate.
