Beaut 2 Storey house facing directly across to the Brewery, right near the ferry. Fantastic view of Newcastle with only the park between the house and Newcastle harbour. 2x living areas and bathrooms and large open plan kitchen. You would be sharing with only me, my fantastic exhousmate had planned moving in with me here but was unable to transfer her job from Sydney back to Newcastle so there's a big hole to fill. The house is fantastic with great communal area but enough room also not be in each other's face. Would suit somebody working in the cbd, just a short enjoyable ferryride, the terminal is only a quick stroll across the park from the front door. Otherwise I drive each morning and it's only a 20min run into town. Definitely not a party house. The apartment has three levels, with your room and own bathroom on the 2nd level along with the kitchen/living area and another bedroom. The 3rd level has the other two rooms and main bathroom. Main living areas will be furnished by us, so you will just need everything for your bedroom. If you have any pieces of furniture, etc, let us know and we might have some space for them. Your room will easily fit queen bed and has a good sized built in wardrobe. Please note that due to its location there are no car spaces or outdoor area with the apartment, but it is close to the beach and there are plenty of park areas so it's still easy to spend plenty of time outside. Parking is paid between 9am-5pm on weekdays and 9am-12pm on Saturday, free all other hours and all day Sunday. Internet will be included in your rent of $170, and other bills are split between the 4 of us.
It has fantastic views of the harbour and you will be living on your own for most of the time. There is a lot of storage space for your stuff. It is 7 min brisk walk to Newcastle beach. The gardens outside the building are very tranquil and great place to sit and relax. I have a lovely room in a light and bright older style renovated house. There is the option of a very large room or a medium sized room (rent would be reduced for the smaller room). Cafes, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance, and a beautiful walkway just at the end of the street. Bus stop to city across the road. I am in the process of getting the nbn on (proving somewhat troublesome) but once that is connected you are welcome to use - however until then you will need your own internet access.
It is a townhouse that is right on the park in Carrington. The front door opens to the park and looks directly onto the water. There are two rooms available. Room one is larger and looks onto the water. Room two looks into the back yard and has a view of trees and is smaller. Both have built ins and fans. The house has just been renovated and has new paint, carpet etc... there is a garage that is used for storage and also another place to hang out with a lounge in it. There is a small backyard that's super green. There is two bathrooms, one in the room that I'm in and another that will he shared between the other two rooms. It has a shower, toilet and bath and a massive mirror. There's also another toilet downstairs. There is unlimited NBN internet which will be split $20 each every month and all bills split evenly. I like the place to be clean, especially the kitchen but im not over the top. Smoking out the back is ok but not all the time. It's a great place to live, really quite but also close to the city centre. Bond will be two weeks rent and will need to sign the lease. I need the rooms filled ASAP.
