I am currently looking for a tenant for my 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, double garage home in Ngunnawal (the newer part of Ngunnawal on the back of Casey) - up the road from Casey shops. Not sure you would consider living North Side- but it's about 15-20 min drive to the city. $300-$350 per week. Looking at an initial 3 month tenancy (and will extend dependent on if it's all working well). Move in date- January 2019- TBC. I am looking to rent out the back end of my house. The tenancy includes one garage spot for your car, one bedroom (and an additional one you can use to house guests occasionally/ extra storage), your own bathroom (large bathroom with shower and bath tub) etc. One of the bedrooms is currently furnished with a dresser and queen bed from 1825 interiors. I can remove the furniture however, and place this in the other spare bedroom. The house itself has a beautiful outdoor deck with 8 seater entertaining table, a bbq, large yard, a water tank, and various plants. Plenty of room for storage in the house and outside/ in the garage. If guests stay over (this is rare as my friends and family are local to Canberra), I would request they stay in the spare room. I am initially looking at a 3-month lease, but dependent on the relationship (if the tenancy is working) I would consider extending this.

The kitchen contains all the usual cooking appliances and equipment. I am friendly and up for a chat. I also like to keep to myself too especially after a busy day at work. I understand the need for privacy and personal space. I start early and work full time Monday to Friday. I am in and out of the house on the weekends. I am an active busy person who goes to the gym, walks my dog regularly and meets up with friends usually outside the house. I have a cat who spends most of his time inside, he is 19 years old. He hangs around at dinner time but otherwise keeps to himself. I also have a friendly 10 year old Kelpie, she is quiet and obedient and spends most of her time outside. I would consider a reduced rate for a person that works in Canberra and travels home for the weekends. The bond is three weeks rent minus the amount I set aside for utilities and internet.
