About the flatmates

Part time support worker and house mate for 52yr male with mild global delay and speech dyspraxia in 4 bed 3 bath share house. Accommodation in share house, master bedroom, can be from non furnished to fully furnished. Other housemate is 60yr old dog trainer. Looking for someone who has or loves dogs and is physically fit enough to provide support for my son, mainly supervision, going to the gym, helping with laundry, meal prep, checking on personal hygiene. Flexible support hours min 24hrs/week with very generous salary package. Access to fully serviced and comprehensively insured manual car. We need someone who is caring, reliable, has driving license or willing to get one. There is no heavy lifting or specialist care required. Gordon's support worker/flatmates have become members of a de facto extended community for Gordon. Gordon has a membership (2 tickets) for Raiders. Very flexible hours. This needs to work for the person joining the share house bc my son will sense any unease and "dissatisfaction". This is a chance to turn your life around in a supported (as little or as much as you want) in exchange of providing part time support and including our son into your social life. Most support workers have become good friends of my son and the family and are still in touch.
