The location is a 10 minute drive into the city or a short walk to the Norman Park train station and cross river ferry as well as local cafes. Street parking is always available however every 2nd week off street parking is available. The room comes unfurnished however the house is fully furnished. Depending on what you have there is a small amount of room for storage for furniture if you need. The rent is $230/week.The house is available from the 30th of January however flexible with dates if you need to move in later.

Spacious apartment with great views of Brisbane CBD including Story bridge. I have just moved in and have an unfurnished room to rent. The room has a large mirrored built wardrobe and would comfortably fit a double bed. The room does not have air conditioning but the rest of the apartment does and I am happy to provide an air conditioning unit. You would also have your own bathroom with a shower and small bath, and full laundry facilities are also in this bathroom. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished with some very comfortable lounges and both Apple and Telstra TV so there are multiple ways to watch Netflix. I also have an unlimited internet package with Telstra. The kitchen is a relatively new fit out with a dishwasher, and gas stove and oven. There are also new blinds throughout the apartment. On top of the great living area inside there is a large balcony outside so you can enjoy the view of Brisbane and any fireworks displays they have on the river. Also, there is a pool in the apartment complex which you would be free to use! Norman Park is a great location and there are buses that go regularly from bus stops on Wynnum road that are a minutes walk from the apartment (services include 230 and 235). There is also a ferry stop a few minutes walk away that connects up with New Farm and from there you can get the CityCat. If you do have a car, there is on street parking. There is a car spot in the basement which could fit 2 cars provided both of them are small, however the cars would have to be parked in tandem.

We have found a great house in Norman Park. It has timber floor all around (no dirty carpets!), three large bedrooms with large built-in closets, air-con throughout the house, many off-street parking spots (at least three), a large covered deck, a nice garden and even a small studio at the back! We have signed the lease and will be moving in on the week-end of the 3rd/4th of February, however the house will be empty before then (doing some renovation) so we will be able to organise visits. The house (and the rooms) are unfurnished, however we do own a lot of common-space furniture (fridge, washing machine, very nice leather couch, table and chairs, outdoor BBQ, etc.) so whether or not you have furniture to bring is not important (except for the bedroom, you'll need to sort that ourself but we can definitively help). Bills (electricity, water and internet) are not included in the rent and will be split 4 ways. Since we have not moved in the place yet, I can not give a definitive amount for bills, but in my experience it should be around 20$ per person and per week. We love animals but sadly Bertrand is allergic to cats and dogs so no pets - sorry!

Hi guys, My partner Chris and I own a cool house in Camp Hill (7kms from city), South East Brisbane. We have 2 rooms that we are renting out both are fully furnished. We would prefer people for short term stays (6-12 months). Rent is $200 per week for singles and $350 per week for couples - this includes all bills (water, electricity, gas, wifi, netflix etc). We would only have us (Chris and myself) and 2 other people at one time in the house. Therefore if you are a couple we wouldn't rent out the other room etc (4 adults max). Our road connects to Old Cleveland Road, which has a great deal of buses that travel to the city and UQ every 5-10 minutes. We are also a short walk to Coorparoo or Norman Park Train Station. Chris and I are quite social and have a great group of friends and family. We are looking for a very easy going and friendly roommate/s that we can enjoy having around but are also considerate of our place. We have had lots of flatmates from all over the world as well as host on airbnb so we like to think we are pretty great hosts :) We definitely like our flatmates to become mates. While personal transport is not necessary as Bus /Citycat services and walking distances are so convenient here, if you have private transport there are ample parking spaces available in the body corp car park. About household: I'm a happy and friendly single gay guy in my mid 30's with a quirky sense of humor. I work at the airport on shifts so please be patient. I like to keep my house clean, tidy and organised, but am not overly pedantic about temporary mess. Our complex is quiet and relaxing as is the household, so it's perfect for the city or suburb commuter who likes to come home and not worry about parties carrying on or people coming and going all day. The common areas of the house are an open space but must always be left clean and tidy when you're done. The common areas are where we both relax and enjoy company, so I'd prefer if it was not used for personal storage. Your friends, partner and family are always welcome visitors. Bills are always paid on time or in advance where applicable. Cost of Electricity,Gas, Internet/phone and common household consumables is extra and split 50/50 (see at bottom). Ideal flatmate: I'm looking for a friendly, co-operative, quiet and easy going flat mate who knows the value of openness. Someone over 23 would be preferable. I like to pay bills before they're due or on time. You will need to be employed during your lease as unemployment is not acceptable. I only usually share basic groceries like milk and cleaning products so you will need to provide for yourself in that regard. However if either of us wish to cook something together I'm happy to pitch in so we can enjoy a meal together and vice versa. I don't particularly mind how you keep your personal space in your room just so long as it doesn't smell etc.. Must be gay friendly and pet tolerant. Hey guys! We've got a great en-suite-bedroom combo in the heart of coorparoo, just 10 mins from the city. Internet is reliable and great ($20/month). Air con in the main living area which we use a bit as I work from home. Two nice sized balconies make for great chill out areas. Neither of us smoke, we aren't phased having a roomy that does. I also own a very cute cat that doesn't really like anyone but you'll still think she's super cute. Any questions, throw em over!
