They can provide references for all the good times we've had :) As such I'm looking to fill one room downstairs (I have one room upstairs with the ensuite, one of the downstairs rooms and the other upstairs room have both been taken). There is one garage car spot available for an extra $5 per week rent - the street parking is unlimited however. One of the upstairs rooms (mine - taken already) has an ensuite so the remaining 3 rooms in the house share the bathroom with a bath. I have a fridge and washing machine but the rest of the furniture is needed as it will be taken away by the departing housemates - pantry, couches, dining table and chairs, coffee table etc.). You will be required to apply to sign onto the new lease if your application is successful - the bond is $670 per person. NOTE - the property is for sale - the current lease is due to expire at the end of July, but the owner has agreed to extend it for 6 months (up until the end of February). Short walk (less than 5 mins) to the Norman Park train station Foodworks, petrol station and a great cafe I frequent each morning. 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the local Coles/Woolworths in Coorparoo. About the house: House has heaps of space and storage, with an empty garage, storage under the staircase, and a large study which we currently don't use. We also have 2 fridges and 3 freezers, as well as a wine fridge/cooler built into the kitchen bench. You will be sharing bathroom (full bathtub/shower) with two others. There's a second toilet in the laundry room on the main floor - with washing machine and dryer. I've got my netflix account setup on the TV downstairs, and we've recently got an NBN connection which will be live in the next few days. The house also has amazing ducted air conditioning/heating and fans in each room. We have a cleaner who comes once every 4 weeks, so apart from stacking the dishwasher and other basic stuff, there really aren't many house chores to speak of at all. About the housemates: House is super friendly, chilled out and easy going. House has a friendly and social vibe, we often watch shows or movies together in the evenings during the week, a couple of us go to the gym together, and has a good mix of different personalities. Everyone is happy to get milk or whatever basics the house needs when they're out, noone is counting dollars and cents or stressing over who has what shelf where The only house rule is don't be a weirdo, so if you meet that criteria we'd be more than happy to have you over to check the place out and meet the crew :)

Am open to renting other room for storage if required. There is only 1 bathroom and unfortunately no bath, however the shower is huge and the water pressure is ammaazzzing! If you like to cook the kitchen is very spacious and equipped with a dishwasher. There is aircon in the open plan lounge room so summer will be easy to deal with. Although inside may be small and cosy there is a medium size patio out front and a large balcony out back for entertaining. If you catch public transport this is the place for you. You could almost just roll out of bed and you'd be at the trainstation already. The new cinema and restaurants is a 5 min walk away, (maybe 10 if its Friday drinks lol)

This is an oasis - a peaceful inner city location, steps from city centre amongst a lovely eclectic mix of professionals and students - mostly female but a few males do live here. Some of us work full time, and some of us are studying our Bachelors, Masters or PhD - a mix of everything! Although it's a large house, it's never chaotic or crowded as it's spread out in 4 wings and designed very tastefully for function and aesthetics. Not your typical share house so even though you share bathrooms, it's very nice and private. Everyone is quite independent, and does there own thing but always happy to catch up socially over a cup of tea or glass of wine. There are spacious areas to spread out and relax in the gardens, courtyard, lounge room, dining room, front lawns with gorgeous city views, a stand alone pavilion on the front lawn with comfy couches, tables and TV, 3 kitchens, 20 bedrooms, and 10 bathrooms through the entire house.
