It's a massive (and I mean massive) two storey house, (3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs) so it's never too crowded. The 2 boys who lives downstairs are only seen around twice a month due to their busy schedule, so it's best to think of it as having 2 housemates! Cooking is also very manageable, we've never had a problem and rarely cook at the same time! It's also super easy to get quiet time whenever you need it. The room is a very decent size (can fit queen size bed, desk and dresser) with a ceiling fan and built in wardrobe. The bathroom is shared with one other person (female). This is a great house in Norman Park, we're close to the city (10mins), massive deck, Air-con in bedrooms, Gas stove, NBN, second toilet, gym, coffee machine, BBQ, no carpet to worry about. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Must have a steady income and able to pay bills on time (about $50 a week for elec, gas and net). We have a private en-suite master bedroom with a bathtub and aircon available in a large woolstore in Teneriffe (190 square meters). It's very spacious with high ceiling which makes you feel like you're living in a house, not an apartment. Our apartment is furnished, you just need to bring furnitures for your room. There is a gym, a sauna, a big bbq area, a 20-25m lap pool and an onsite manager who looks after us. We share gas and electricity bills which comes in every month - around $40 per person. Water and WiFi are covered in the rent. We are right at the border of New Farm and Teneriffe with River Walk across the road from our building. It takes 10-15 min walk to Merthyr Village Shopping Centre, New Farm Park and Teneriffe Ferry. The bus 199 stops right in the front of our building and it goes to Fortitude Valley, CBD, Culture Centre and West End every 10-15 mins and the City Glider is also available in front of the Teneriffe Ferry. This is a quiet, beautiful and convenient spot in Teneriffe. We have enjoyed living in this woolstore apartment for 5 years now. :)
