The house is a very cute and cosy pad, tucked away behind trees of a pretty busy street- hopefully you can get used to the traffic noise, I sure have- it easily goes unnoticed now. The house contains one bathroom, a kitchen and all utilities. The room you can rent is partially furnished with a bed and desk, however can be unfurnished if need be. My ideal housemate would be someone who is open minded, down to earth and isn't going to bring a party home at 3am. I do smoke inside so if you're a smoker that's awesome news! However I am willing to smoke on the balcony if a non-smoker found that uncomforting. A big thing for me is cleanliness, as long as you can clean up after yourself we will never have any issues. Unit is fully furnished except for your room, keep in mind the genie might be able to help out here if you need bedroom furniture. We don't clean common areas but are happy to pay others to. The cleaner comes fortnightly and it works out at $20 each and the odd high five when you bump into him and his team. Internet is $15 a month if you would like to use it. All other bills split 3 ways i.e. power, gas, cook and masseuse. We deal directly with the owner and have a good relationship with him - he used to buy us birthday drinks but that stopped when i complained about the six pack of west coast coolers he dropped in last time Shaun had a birthday. The current lease has 5 months remaining. We have been very lucky to have had really great house mates over the last 5 odd yrs and are looking to make it 6 yrs on the trot. Respect, integrity, a good sense of humour and oestrogen production (we need another female to balance out the oversupply of testosterone - Yin and Yang harmony) is all we ask! Hi, I have a room for rent in leafy Hawthorne. The townhouse is spacious, is 3 levels with a courtyard and the room for rent is on the top floor. You will have your own bathroom and the room is furnished with a queen sized bed and built in wardrobes. The mid level is shared and is where the kitchen is located. The kitchen has a gas stove and you will have your own fridge. There are two balconies on the mid level too and when the doors are open there is a gorgeous breeze inside. In saying that we are pretty much completely set up on the bottom level and we don't spend much time on the mid level so you are sure to have your space and private time there. We have Foxtel and Internet which is included in the weekly rent. The only bills you need to go thirds in are power and gas. The property is walking distance to everything you need, bus, train, city cat, gyms, shops, cafes, restaurants, movie theatres and Hawthorne Park.
This is a beautiful and comfortable, furnished apartment under trees within 100 metres of New Farm park and very close to two bus routes, city cat and Merthyr Village shops. The bedroom is carpeted, has its own large bathroom, inbuilt cupboards and reverse cycle air conditioning. I am often away interstate with work so this is an easy going place to live. For you...you will be clean, tidy, happy, have your own outside interests and be respectful of others space. The rent includes WiFi, Foxtel but not electricity and utilities.

The citycat station is located at Mowbray Park at 150 meters far from the house, as well as the bus station, Parking for free in front of the house. Hi we have just moved into a beautiful renovated sunnny queenslander and are looking for 2 more roomies. The house is in East Brisbane with IGA, sushi and doughnut time with in 5 minutes walk. We are looking to rent out a room in our spacious 3 bedroom townhouse in Morningside.
