Hey! The master bedroom is now available to rent. The room is huge, light and easily fits a queen sized bed and has 4 x built ins for all your storage needs. I am English and Sarah is aussy, and we both work full time. The Apartment itself is big. The bedroom is specious and has lots of light, has mirrored double wardrobes. I have my own bathroom, so the main bathroom is for you an Sarah to share. There is also a small office area in the open plan you are welcome to use. There are 2 balconies on either side of the apartment and an outdoor large courtyard for private use with a BBQ. Internal laundry and Internal garbage shoot on the same floor. There is also a large double cage for car/stuff/bikes/surf board or whatever - but its pretty packed right now so would have to make room for a car, there is plenty of street parking tho The apartment has - Foxtel, Wifi, Air con & heating The building itself, has nice communal gardens and a small gym. I am looking for a respectful, tidy, clean and warm person to share our beautiful home. I would love someone that is looking for a place to call home for at least 6 months if possible but will consider shorter terms if the right person comes along. About the room . . . The room fits a double bed and desk. It has 3 doored wardrobe (mirrored), has quality carpet and white wooden blinds. It overlooks the neighbours green backyard. It has been my bedroom to date and I have very much enjoyed it. I'll tell you why I'm moving to another room when I see you ;-) If you like it can come furnished with a quality wooden framed double bed. You will need to provide your own sheets and bedspread. If you have your own bed that is fine too, we can remove the bed currently in there. About the rest of the house . . . There is plenty of space inside and out - with a back garden, a front garden and a large bathroom (including an awesome shower head and bath). The kitchen space has a large bench to cook up a storm with a large kitchen top breaking up the lounge room and kitchen - the open plan makes for a great layout to socialise whilst cooking. The home is semi-detached to the neighbours home who own the carport and driveway. There is plenty of free street parking for us to park. The neighbourhood is quiet and filled with bird life. There are a lot of families in the area and at the end of our street is the Manly Dam which has some great bush walks. There is a local supermarket 10 minutes walk from the home as well as a number of quality local cafes, chemist, post office, take-away fish and chips, Thai, Indian etc, a bakery, florist, beautician, hairdresser, physio, massage and more. Freshwater and Manly have a number of great health food cafes, beautiful clothing and houseware shops and Harris Farm Manly which has one of the best seafood markets and butcher attached to it. We are also 7 minutes drive or a short bus ride to Warringah Mall which has recently been renovated. We are 7 minutes drive to Freshwater beach and about the same to the centre of Manly. There is a bus stop 1 minute walk from our house which has buses straight to Manly and straight to the CBD of Sydney - making it great for anyone who works in the city. Looking for a non-smoking, fun and tidy individual to share my awesome, light and clean ground-floor garden apartment. You must be good with animals as I live with my beautiful dog Frankie (I'll get to her soon!). The apartment is one of 5 in a privately owned 1950's double-brick block. Its cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The other apartments in this block are super friendly and all in their early/mid 30's. This makes for a really enjoyable vibe. The apartment has real wooden flooring throughout, and was recently painted. The apartment is fully furnished, with the exception of the bedroom - which is yours to make your own! The room has a private entrance, is light and airy, and can come either furnished or unfurnished based on your circumstances. Dishwasher, gas cooking, heaps of kitchen storage and a view over manly lagoon make cooking pretty enjoyable! The bathroom is big, and there is a bath to relax in if the weeks been too tough! I don't currently have Foxtel but there are facilities to connect that up, and Netflix / apple TV is available. Large outdoor, North Facing private garden belongs to this apartment, and is where Frankie the dog spends most of her days. It is fully fenced and houses the laundry. The complex also has an incredible terrace that backs onto manly lagoon with fire pits, and benches - just perfect for a sun-downer or day-time session! There is a LUG, where some stuff can be stored - bikes, surf boards etc... Street parking around here is very easy - there is always space! Bus stops to Manly, the city and the mall are 100m away. You can walk to Freshwater in 5-10 minutes, and Manly in 20-30. It really is a wicked apartment, and I'm stoked to be living here, I hope you will be too!
This little (well not so little) 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom apartment is situated in a great location on the Northern Beaches. It is very close to Warringah Mall, is only a $10 uber ride away from the hustle and bustle or beach life in Manly/ Dee Why and is at the back of its block allowing for quiet from the road it is on. The block has beautiful gardens (Front, entrance path and from balcony) that are looked after amazingly by one of the neighbours. Everyone is very friendly in the halls and a lot of them have animals. Mostly dogs. The apartment (14) is on the second level of the 2 storey building and is very spacious with lots of natural light. It has a great sized balcony, big enough for seating and a small bbq area. The bedroom that is available is the bigger of the 2, plus it has its own Ensuite. So no bathroom sharing is necessary, unless of course you would like to relax in the bath, in the main bathroom (my bathroom). The main bathroom also has a small laundry with sink and washing machine. No dryer is available but I do have a cloths rack that I use when needed. The common areas are pretty well furnished with a little study area, couch and lounge things, though the bedroom is not. PETS: I am open to having a pet in the house. My preference is cat/s but small dogs may be ok to. This will have to be considered.
The house is well situated and is a 7 minute walk to either Freshwater Beach or Queenscliff Beach so good for sunny days. Also a short stroll to the very nice Freshwater and the cafes and shops. Close to the bus into the city and Manly a 30 minute walk too. Medium sized second bedroom with great built in wardrobes. I can supply bed if needed. One bathroom with separate toilet.
