It also has ducted heating throughout (and a wood fireplace) and aircon in the living room. Sorry for the real estate photos, we havent gotten around to taking any ourselves. It has a huge backyard as well and currently a blow up pool for summer. The room is not huge (it does fit a queen size bed though not a huge amount else). It does have a walk in wardrobe and a door that opens out onto your own little deck. The room is $200/week and all bills are split evenly. We have internet and a google chrome with Netlflix and Stan access. We are looking for someone friendly and relaxed. The room comes furnished with a bed frame - we would love it if you wanted/needed it, but totally understand if you have your own bed that you want to bring with you. The room also has views across to Black Mountain. The apartment is dated, within an old complex, however I like to think that it makes up for it with its spaciousness (the rooms are much bigger than many more modern apartments) and its excellent location. Braddon/Dickson/the City/ANU are all a short walk away, and there will be a light-rail stop practically out the front. There is also plenty of visitor parking for your car.

The house is fully furnished, so new housemates will only need to bring their own belongings and linen into the house. It has a large (lockable) side yard that receives sunshine throughout the day, and many windows which allow for both light and warmth to flood the home during daylight hours. The house is equipped with high quality appliances, such as a Bosch oven, stove top and dishwasher, an LG washing machine, Methven taps and shower heads and a Nespresso coffee machine. You can also stream to your heart's content with unlimited NBN fibre to the home. A great house on quiet street. Recently renovated. New kitchen and bathrooms. It's spacious and open. I have a friendly dog who stays with me a couple of days a week. Very convenient location, 5 mins to Dickson, 10 to the city, 10 to Gunghalin and 10 to Belconnen. We have Netflix, Stan, unlimited high speed NBN, a BBQ, a home gym and a handsome Staffy/ boxer named Raphael. We also have chickens, so free eggs ;) The main living area has reverse cycle A/C, and the whole house has ducted heating. We have a washing machine, dryer and two clothes lines. The house is kept very clean and tidy, as we both carry our weight with the cleaning, although the garden has gotten a bit out of hand over summer, so bonus point if you like gardening :) We live in a positive home environment and everybody enjoys everyone's company, and we would like to keep that going.
