The house is cute, well maintained and has good fittings. The yard is tidy, comfortable and practical. There's electric heating in each room. There's a dishwasher, washing machine and clothes line that can dry anything in a day. The kitchen is cosy but well set up. The bathroom has a bath and a separate toilet. Smoking is fine but strictly outside only. I work in town and it only takes me 12 minutes to walk there, so it's pretty easy to leave the car at home most of the time. The room itself has a queen bed, built ins, plenty of natural light and privacy. Like everything else in the house it is fairly small/cosy but well designed. I'm testing out the idea of having a housemate so I'm primarily looking for someone short term at this stage, maybe 3-6 weeks but I'm flexible.

I have lived in Mount Victoria, in this particular property since the end of 2018. A long time resident of the upper Blue Mountains, having lived in Leura and Blackheath both. I raised my boy here and love the mountains. Mount Victoria is a quiet, lovely town. I have quiet, friendly neighbours though they are not intrusive. The house is newly renovated, lots of natural wood features and warm and cosy. There are two bedrooms downstairs, the smaller is available, and a large loft area upstairs, which could work as a third sleeping space. The kitchen and bathroom are both fresh and well equipped. The house is close to beautiful walks, lovely coffee spots and transport. I am very settled and happy here and would love to stay. The price per week is inclusive of bills.

We call this share accommodation but it is like having a private place to yourself. We use part of the house about once in two months. So if you want a private place but are prepared to put up with the occasional very short invasion, this might be OK for you. There is a large bedroom, great kitchen, loungeroom, bathroom (and possibly another room). We are a family with 2 kids (4yrs and 7yrs) and about once each 8 weeks (or less) we come up for the weekend or overnight and do a little bit of work on the place. Looking for independent type and definitely a non-smoker, and sorry no pets either. The whole place is furnished, including the bedroom (double bed, drawers) so you can just walk in and unpack. It's about 1 km from Katoomba Station. There are buses between the house and the station. There will be a fixed arrangement for electricity bills. If you need phone or internet you will have to get the connection yourself. If your situation needs some flexibility you can contact me and we can discuss whether it will work.
Close to shops, train station and the local bus picks up and drops off at front of house, there is a gym just down the road in walking distance, as most things are from this residence, so therefore owning your own car is definitely not a criteria. The new tenant has the right to all amenities, with consideration to the other tenants. Rent will include bedding but renter must supply own personal items. For eg toilet paper, food and laundry supplies. All of the rooms include the use of internet, water, power and gas will be charged as the bills become available Netflix is available, and on those chilly nights there is a slow combustion fire to keep warm by. The first pictured is the double which is $250 for 1 person or if a couple or 2 friends where to rent it then the price would be $350. (Single beds would be supplied). The first single room is $175, and comes with a made single bed, wardrobe and a chest of draws. The second is $180 and comes with the same as the first. The bathroom is shared with the other people who happen to be here at the same time. Out in the spacious backyard, that is fully fenced there is a comfy swinging seat with a lovely pond area and newly planted ferns to relax by, only just completed but it is a very tranquil, cool and calm place to sit and read a good book, or study whatever be your thing. If the new tenants would like to have their friends over for a meal then out on the back deck there is a BBQ and a blue tooth music set-up, before people get the wrong impression, this is far from a party house, but I, as other people do enjoy the company of my friends and would just like to let the new tenants know that as long as they, and their guests are respectful there would not be a problem with that at all. I have not put Welfare welcome owing to the fact that it is preferred not to have those on welfare.

While surrounded by walking tracks down to the falls, the station and shops are conveniently located just a five minute drive away. There are garden views from all windows and a verandah area overlooking the private back garden. The layout of the home lends itself to being divided it two complete living areas, allowing for privacy and independence.

Three level home on large block, surrounded by bush reserve. The granny flat is 'internal' (not a detached dwelling) but on the bottom level. It is self contained (own bathroom and kitchen). The laundry is shared and also on the bottom level along with a large rumpus room. living areas are on the middle level. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the top level. We don't intend to rent out the other bedrooms, we will live in one of the bedrooms and the others will be 'guest' rooms. Main entrance to the house is on the middle level. The granny flat also has its own entrance at bottom level. Internet is included in rent. We would just ask you to contribute 20% of the gas and electricity.
