A friend of mine & I were the first to find this place (i.e. we took it up when it was vacant) & instantly fell in love with it. The Room. The bedroom comes with a double bed, built-in robe, storage cabinets, built-in desk and air conditioning. Our 3 bedroom townhouse is located in a quiet street off Glen Huntly Road within walking distance from plenty of local amenities. We are close to Glen Huntly train station (which is only 5 mins walk away), the number 67 tram and bus stops. There are local shops, cafes and restaurants, and a Woolworths supermarket just outside the door. An Anytime Fitness gym is only 10 minutes away on foot. This would be an ideal location for a Monash University student studying at the Caulfield campus, which is just one train stop or 20 minutes’ walk away. We have a nice and spacious private room for rent on the second level of our townhouse with a queen-sized bed and built-in wardrobe. Other optional furnishings (such as side tables, chairs and a study table) are also available if required. The shared bathroom and toilet (which will be shared with one other person) is also on the second level. Downstairs, there is a very spacious open-plan lounge area, dining area and fully functioning modern kitchen. Netflix is available on the large TV in the lounge area. There is also a separate toilet and laundry at the back with a fairly new washing machine. There is a small garden at the front and a long courtyard at the side with a clothesline and outdoor seating and dining facilities. The house also has central heating and cooling. All bills (electricity, water, gas and internet) are included in the rent. This is a home, not a party house. All residents are very clean and tidy, and respectful and considerate towards each other. There is a chilled and quiet dog that lives with us.
