We live in a small block of 4 beachfront units. It is very private and chilled as there is no street at the front, just a grassy path to the sand. The view from our balcony is incredible and the surf gets really good at the front as well. The apartment is conveniently located on the end of Palm Beach and there's a bus stop just at the corner at the GC HWY.
This house is a short ride to the beach, pet friendly and has a pool! We are all friendly and social but it’s not a party house. We have housemate dinners and movie nights but also respect each others space and having our own time. There is a great outdoor area and aircon inside for the extreme summer heat. It’s an open living area and is perfect in summer.

I live in a 10-12 year old third floor penthouse apartment in Palm Beach with canal views. I live downstairs with my own bathroom on the same floor as the living room and kitchen. The room for rent is upstairs in a large room with a balcony and ensuite so it is very private. There is a pool on the property and it is a 5 minute walk to the beach.
What we love the most of our house is the environment. It's a clean, fresh and cool place, full of plants and herbs, good vibes and a KelpieXDachshund Puppy. Its a 5 minutes walk to our favorite spot, Tallebudgera Creek and another 5 minutes walk to Palm Beach. Craig's favorite thing to do is to build stuff in the yard and Gabby's is to go for a walk along tallebudgera creek and Palmy. The house has also an under-cover entertainment area with a table to enjoy even more our time off with our friends and flatmates! Your bedroom is light filled with a ceiling fan lamp; built in wardrobe, bed and a set of drawers. $35 a week is a flat rate for bills, including electricity, water, unlimited internet and shared things for the house such as toilet paper, napkin, cleaning products and etc Moving in date is somewhat flexible. our current Flatmate plans to move out mid January so we are getting a head start on finding someone.

Mr Puss is old and grumpy but has his charm and personality! ..... Off street parking is available however is not undercover. The electricity is included . I also have a reverse osmosis water system so you won't have to drink fluoridated tap water unless you want to! A water conscious person preferred. A peaceful , tranquil place and health conscious environment which is drug free and not a party.house ....... There is no TV connection, so if you love watching tv this will not suit you..........you can watch movies/dvds on the tv it is just I have no digital connection for television ....... So have I lost 98% of the population ???? Its not going to suit a lot of people but I am pretty easy going and do have a good sense of humor.... I also take the time to answer all messages. Hello! :) Our much loved housemate has left us to explore New Zealand, so we have a room for rent in our apartment in Palm Beach! THE ROOM - The room is fully furnished with a King sized bed & small desk. It has a built-in mirrored wardrobe and has a lovely view of the ocean & is air conditioned (a must in sunny QLD!!) THE APARTMENT / COMPLEX - Our apartment itself is older, but is fully air conditioned and quite spacious! It's a 2 bathroom apartment and we use the ensuite, therefore you basically have your own bathroom (apart from when we need to put our washing on as the laundry is in the main bathroom). We live in the Royal Palm complex - it sits right on the beach, has a pool/spa, sauna & tennis courts. The apartment has Foxtel & internet :) YOU - We are looking for someone to move in temporarily at this stage, as we have already commited to having friends stay with us for a week over the Christmas period (we would need the room to be vacant on Christmas Eve up until the 3rd Jan). However, following Christmas we will be looking for someone to come & live with us for a longer period! Preferably the person moving in would be super easy going, CLEAN, up for a drink or two on the weekend but keep it pretty low-key during the week. Our ganny flat is totally independent from the main house and has two separate entries that you are able to use. There are two double beds in the granny flat as well as a kitchenette. Please note that you have your own bath and shower however this is located in the main house as the granny flat is not equipped with a shower only toilet and kitchen In addition to two double beds there is a six seater lounge and dining area for four people. There is a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall that allows you to watch generic channels as well as access to foxtel. The kitchenette is equipped with fridge/freezer, electric cooktop and oven, microwave, toaster, electric frying pan and kettle with tea and coffee provided. There are all your basic cooking utensils needed for a kitchenette. You also have access to a BBQ located in the pool are on the outside deck that also has seating for six people. In regards to the pool and BBQ area on the deck you have access to these at your leisure, however the pool are is a shared area that myself, husband and children do use. In regards to children, we have incorporated a children’s play area into the granny flat for any families that are interested in staying. The granny flat has a reverse cycle air conditioner and is able to be used at your leisure as well. Access to a laundry with both washing machine and dryer is available. Just ask Wifi is also available to you if needed. We are close to the airport (10minutes) and the shops (The Pines Shopping Centre) is located less than a 200m walk. Available at the shops are a range of cafes, all major grocery stores (Woolworths and Coles) as well as Aldi and Kmart, liquor stores and speciality stores. As well as fast food outlets such as McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut. We are 50 minutes from Byron Bay and 30 minutes from Broadbeach. We are a 5 minute drive from the centre of Palm Beach that offers a range of eating out and night/ day activities at restaurants and bars, including but not limited to The Collective, Wilderness, 8th Av Terrace and for more simple dining Palm Beach Surf Club is also located within 5 minutes. At the Pines Shopping Centre there is public transport that runs frequently. On the weekends there are local farmers markets that are within walking distance. In regards to parking there is ample street parking that is free. As a additional, given we have a family ourselves with have a porta cot available if needed/ required There is a busy road ( Gold Coast Hwy ) located near our property so you will hear some traffic noise, if you are a light sleeper this accommodation may not be suitable for you. Please again note that the bathroom (shower/bath) is not located in the granny flat it is in the main house so you will have you own access to the main house for this but please just remember that the granny flat only contains a toilet just mentioning this again as I do not want you to be disappointed in the accommodation I am offering.
