Our apartment is spacious, warm and in a very safe location with great views of the city. It has AC/heating (but is well insulated and we don't need to use the heater over winter). There is a storage cage and two ground floor courtyards downstairs. The apartment block is new and there is a common rooftop area on the top floor with a beautiful outdoor area with amazing views, a massive tv, sitting area and cooking facilities. It is our favourite part of the building and is a haven to come home to. The apartment block is very secure with reception 9-5pm weekdays, swipes that only work for the specific floor and video intercom in each apartment. It is right opposite Royal Melbourne Hospital and the University of Melbourne, and close to the CBD. There is a tram stop 1 minute down the road, which is just 2 stops outside the free tram zone. Alternatively, its only a 10 min walk to Queen Vic Market and then the trams are free. There's an IGA Liquor downstairs too which is really convenient.
This is a two storied Victorian house with 3 bedrooms upstairs and the kitchen, dining , living downstairs with a beautiful backyard and plenty of place for on street parking. There’s a place for parking and subjected to be discussed if willing to take it. The house is a minute away from the tram stop that goes to the city and two minutes away from the station. It’s in a quiet locality, with everything that you can think of is nearby. The backyard is leafy and has a BBQ. Ideal for student or Job holders. The room has aircon, fully furnished and quite large. Anyone willing to clean the common areas , like the kitchen, bathroom and the dining once a week, the rent would be 775 per month. We do not do rent for 4 weeks, we do it month wise. So without cleaning , it would be 875 and with willing to clean once every week, it’s 775.

Single room, great location, in Kensington This room is soon available in a quiet highly sought after area: close to public transport, city (only 2 stations), and universities (RMIT, Melbourne, Victoria, and ACU) are all very close by. The street is quiet and tree-lined and there is a small park opposite the house. Kensington is a trendy inner suburb with many cafes and eating places. Rent includes utility bills, unlimited WiFi, basic household items (eg toilet paper, cleaning products) and a monthly cleaner. Room is lockable and has excellent heating. Bedding is supplied if required. The house includes a very well equipped kitchen, dining area, laundry and recreation mezzanine. Contact by phone or email to make an enquiry or to make a time to view the house. Also, please tell us a bit about yourself. The house is quiet, productive, and friendly, but not a 'party house'. Those who view rooms in this property usually take them. Why? I think the location, balance between friendliness and independence, sensible management. We are looking for a female this time to try to maintain a rough gender balance in the house.
