Large spacious house with backyard and garage, a short walk to trams, trains and bus stops and 10 minutes to the city. Close to Melbourne Uni, Melbourne Zoo and Sydney road. I am going away for 2 months from the 22nd of November until the 23rd of January and looking for someone clean and friendly to fill my room! I will be leaving my bed but can move other things around and provide wardrobe space to suit your needs!
Hi there, I’m a laid back working professional in my early 30's. I enjoy traveling, reading, socialising and relaxing. The apartment is kept tidy, and a cleaner comes every two weeks. (I'm no neat freak though) There are two bedrooms (yours will fit a queen bed, bedside table and desk depending on configuration), one bathroom, large living area, reasonable sized kitchen, one car park and high ceilings. I’m sure you will agree it’s a fantastic location, it’s an ideal walk to uni(s) via parklands or a short tram to the CBD. Most appliances/furniture/kitchen items are already in the house – Including a built in and a stand alone wardrobe in your room - but its BYO bed (and other bedroom furniture). (the furniture will not be the same as the photos) I would prefer a friendly/social housemate who can commit until at least the end of Jan. (When the current lease agreement ends - extending the lease at that point shouldn’t be a problem) More details: • Move in Now • Age 25-40 preferred (but not essential) • Your own off street car park included (as well as on street parking permit) • No internet yet - (NBN available - happy to share cost) • Bills split evenly Looking for $915 per month (inc your car park) Please contact me to meet up and inspect the flat. Nearby: Monash Pharmacy College, Melbourne University, CSIRO, CSL, Whitley College/International House, Visy Stadium, Royal Park Golf Club.
Greetings house hunters! Our lovely current flatmate Po has decided to move in with his girlfriend and while we are sad to see him go, this means the opportunity has arisen for you to move into our lovely two level/three bedroom Parkville townhouse. The room will be available from 14th November 2016 (could be earlier if required) and you would be sharing the house with two straight guys in our twenties and early thirties. The townhouse is only a 5 minute walk to the Barkly Square shops near Brunswick Rd and there is easy access to public transport - 1 minute walk to trams stops and 10 minutes walk to the train station and bus stops (as well as being on two Nightrider bus routes, in case the 24 hour weekend public transport trial ends). The building is double brick and concrete construction (so it is very quiet), has tiled kitchen, toilet and laundry areas along with carpeting throughout the rest of the house. The location is very peaceful with many trees and birds and is also one of the more reasonably-priced areas within the city of Melbourne suburbs (and within Parkville in particular). The location is perfect for students at RMIT/Melbourne University, people who work in the inner city/inner North or those wishing to get into the Brunswick/inner city lifestyle (being situated right near the border of Parkville, Brunswick, and North Carlton/Princes Hill). The room is $725 per cal month (the rent will most likely go up $20 during December). We also require one third of the total bond, which works out to $980 each. Bills are shared equally which are: Skymesh (super reliable) fttp NBN internet - 2TB per month download/upload limit at 100mbps/40mbps down/upload speed for $33.33 monthly, electricity around $200 each every 3 months and water around $70 each (also every 3 months). There is no gas bill, so in total the bills average out to be around $120 a month each, on top of rent. You would be required to transfer your name onto the lease (which is month to month - no worries about instability though as we've been living here several years and the agent has always been helpful with repairs as required). The room is 2.3 meters wide and 3.2 meters long. It comes with a standing mirror wardrobe, wall-mounted turbo fan, two wall-mounted shelves for as pictured. King single bed frame can be transferred with $60. In addition, there is a full additional wardrobe space in the hallway exclusively for your use. The rent for the room costs less than what Nano and Ben each pay for theirs, as it is the smaller of the three (so probably wouldn't be ideal for someone with lots of stuff - it fits a king single or double bed the best). The ground floor comprises an open plan living, kitchen and dining area (including a 32" LED HDTV and a variety of new and old gaming consoles). The kitchen is fully stocked (including a dishwasher, water filter and sodastream) and there is a toilet downstairs and a spiral staircase that leads upstairs. The upstairs comprises of a lovely, light-filled hallway and tiled bathroom (with two sinks and separated shower and bath), as well as an upstairs and connecting laundry (which has a washing machine, sink and laundry cupboards but no dryer although the house has plenty of hanging space for drying laundry inside, as well as in the courtyard). Connecting off the upstairs hallway area are the three bedrooms. There is a reasonable-sized rear garden/courtyard area that the living/dining room opens up to. The garden also has a lockable brick shed which can be used to store some things if required. This advertisement will be removed once the room is filled, so if you are interested, please just send message to us with a day and time that suits for a house viewing (preferably with one or two days' notice). Then one of us will get back to you ASAP with the address and confirmation of the date and time for viewing. We look forward to hearing from you!
We are looking for a single or preferably a couple for our Master bedroom with on-suite bathroom and double vanity, walk in wardrobe and reverse cycle air-con. This room is very spacious, light and bright and carpeted. The house is in a fantastic location right near Sydney Road bars in Brunswick, 3km north of Melbourne CBD surrounded by parklands so great for people that are into fitness and nature. It’s a 15 minute walk to Coles, Liquerland and takeaway shops in Union Square. You will also find Tram 55 and the Royal park train station 15 minutes away. The house is modern, fully furnished, very spacious with a large kitchen with joining dining room, medium lounge room and a beautiful courtyard which will be fantastic in summer! The house also has central heating and a large garage if you have a car.
Looking for someone to share in a newly built apartment in an unfurnished room from 01/10/16 Apartment is fully furnished with couch, TV, dining, A/C, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and Balcony with outdoor furniture. Off street parking available with other residence renting their undercover car spots if that’s more your style. Close to RMIT and Melbourne University as well as Royal Melbourne and Children’s hospital. My current lease ends in January 2017, but ideally looking for the right person to stay on beyond that. Considering all Young Professionals and students who are also working part time who are respectful of others and communal areas but doesn't minding having a chat every now and then. No smokers, no pets. Rent: $260/Wk including Bills (Electricity, Gas, Water, Internet.) Bond: 4 Weeks Rent ($1040) Send me a message to arrange to view the room and have a bit of a chat.
Hello... We have a fantastic upstairs room available with awesome parkland views. The shared sitting area looks out to the parklands and to the suburban Flemington area on the other side. The upstairs bathroom is shared by three of us whilst the main room downstairs has its own ensuite. The place has a decking, a rear courtyard and direct access to the parkland with a friendly magpie that likes to follow you around expecting some handouts. The rest of the house is fully furnished (except for your room of course) and the place has wireless. Its a 5 min walk to the Flemington Bridge train station, or the 59/57 tram to get into town & a 15 min walk to Melb Uni through Royal Melb Park. We are a settled group of people and are easy going, clean, and pretty much do our own things, but dont mind a good catch up chat. The finer details are rent per month $688.69/month (includes internet). Bills are simply divided by four. Look forward to hearing from you!

I live a fit and healthy lifestyle, i'm a bit of a grandma i start work super early so i am very quiet during the week. I don't drink but i do cook & eat ALOT. Im really friendly & i'd love to be able to make friends with the person that moves in. The apartment isn't huge but it has decent size bedrooms with built ins. It's just off Sydney Road & only 5km to the city. I would prefer someone who works 9-5 or is employed full time. Let me know if you think you would suit a place like this :)

The unit is very close to the Sydney road, 20 minutes tram to City, 5 mintues walking to the #19 tram stop (Barkley Square), train station, supermarkets(Aldi, Woolworths, Coles). Little store and bars on the opposite of unit. The room is on the 3rd floor and has french windows, very good view. Furnished with double size bed, desk, chair, shelf and big chest. Ground floor cozy flat on leafy Arden street, spacious kitchen, dining table space and decent lounge, small balcony but you will love it during summer, the house is quite old but kitchen and bathroom have been renovated, central cooling & heating in lounge, minutes away from tram 57 and errol street where you can find supermarkets, liquor shop, excellent coffees (auction room) and many more such as post office, gym or convenient store, there is also a servo down the road just in case you ran out of milk! Victoria market is about 15-20 mins walk, city is about the same by tram, there is also a bus passing in front of the house, not sure where it goes, I think through Melbourne uni. The house stays cool all the time as its surrounded by trees and its old style bricks so in summer you won't feel the heat this much in the house. I am also flexible on the furnitures provided in the room, you can bring your own bed or other furnitures as long as it fits in the room, it can only fit a double bed though. I hope I didn't forget anything, feel free to send me a message if you have any questions anytime.
We got a room for rent in a lovely brick walled double story townhouse in Kensington. The place is about 2 minutes walk from the Kensington Train Station, 6 minute walk to the #57 tram and 4 minute walk to the Kensington main strip with a great selection of cafés like Premises and Fruits of Passion. The room is unfurnished but the house has about everything although Naz (our lovely housemate that's moving out) is leaving with her pot plants, charm and good vibes, so you earn points if you some of that nice positive energy about you and can bring some green into our life :). You'll be sharing with myself (Oyem) and Aaron, we like keep the house nice and tidy but we're not OCDC. We value respect, empathy and hope to find someone who is the same. I have a software engineering, creative background and currently run my own digital product agency so I tend to leave the house early for gym/yoga and back in late in the evening. I'm easy and hoping to find someone positive, mature, with good energy, is employed, can pay the bills, non-smoker, is looking for a place for at least a 9-12 month commitment and most important is an all round good person (partial to having a female share with us). The room is officially available from the 28th of October. Sounds like somewhere you'd like to live? Give me a bell outside of work hours preferably and come check the place out. Look forward to hearing from you, have a good one :)Backyard Dishwasher Washing Machine Huge Backyard with a garden
