My housemate is moving overseas and I’m looking for someone (or possibly a couple) to move in to the room for at least the next 6 months. It's a room in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a unit located near the intersection of Park St. and Sydney Rd. in Brunswick. Located about 5 minute walk to Jewell station and 3 minute walk to the 19 tram to the city. The balcony provides a lovely view of Royal park. Practical stuff: -The room is furnished (bed, heater, bookshelf) but my former flatmate is asking for $250 for the furnishing (negotiable). -The rent is $975 per calendar month and paid to the landlord on a monthly lease (no fixed contract but long term stay is preferred).
