The room is a double room (so for two people so 175 x 2 for the room) and it currently has two single beds. It is very big and the storage space can be arranged so you have some private space. The house is very luminous, every room has at least one window. We have a courtyard to chill in but even better: the park is litterally our back yard (there are free barbecues in the park and a little hill with a view of the city). The housemates are freaking fantastic ;D It is perfectly located, 5 minutes walk away from melbourne uni, 15 minutes walk away from the free tram zone and the rent is cheap for its location. Our common areas are spacious and clean and there is always someone chilling there.

The Gatehouse is looking for two new cool people! Our little palace is literally in between two parks, hence the name of the suburb: Parkville. You can reach the CBD in just 10 min by tram/bike and it's next to Melbourne Uni. Also, we have a carspot available in our backyard and you can get a parking permit as well. Room one (174 dollars a week without bills) is located on the ground floor with beautiful French doors (as a private entry to our backyard). Hi, we are looking for a clean, quiet, mature female to replace our outgoing housemate. It overlooks Royal Park, just a short stroll from Melbourne Zoo. So close in fact we can hear the lions roar and the siamang gibbons calling without needing to leave the flat! The apartment complex includes: secure entrance with intercom, shared courtyard, secure underground garage with two parking sports (plus we have a transferable permit for on street parking), bicycle racks, small gym with sauna and a little storage cage. Parkville borders Brunswick, Carlton and North Melbourne. It is surrounded by green space but a stone's throw from several major shopping and cafe strips so its an ideal location if you work for the hospitals, Uni of Melbourne, Monash Pharmacy campus, any of the businesses along Royal Parade or anywhere in the CBD. Transport wise we are an easy walk from: - no 19 tram along Royal Parade - Royal Park train station (Upfield line) - no 55 tram through Royal Park - Bike tracks through Princes Park and Royal Park - less than one hour walk to the middle of the CBD Bills etc: Gas, electricity and internet are split three ways (works out approx $25pp/pw more in winter, less in summer).
