Parkville is a really nice suburb with its quiet, open spaces while being only a 10min walk from Flemington Bridge Station, Royal Park Stations and trams. It's close to the city as well as the suburbs of the inner north with a freeway close by to get to anywhere you want to go. It's also really cheap taking the taxi/uber back from the city after a late night. Averaging about $15, I've actually gotten home in an Uber for $9. The room itself easily fits my double bed with heaps of room to spare and has a built in double wardrobe with high shelf for easy storage. There's LOTS of storage in the cupboards in the house too. There's also a two car garage in the back for a car owner to have all to themselves since no one here has a car. (Message me for my housemate Ben's number. He's the man to talk to for an inspection).

The house is on a lovely tree-lined street that's within earshot of the 59 tram that goes straight into Melbourne CBD and Flinders St Station. There's Flemington Bridge Railway Station that is just 6 min walk away so public transport is fantastic. It's an older, but very tidy, well presented, 3-bedroom house with high ceilings and ornate ceilings. I'm living with my 2 smaller dogs, Angus and Ella who generally hang around outside in the large leafy green backyard which also makes for a good place to have a drink and Webber. I have previously shared the house with a couple that stayed in the large, front room which has a big windows and great views of the trees outside. The other room that I use is at the other end of the house. Having rooms at either end of the house offers great privacy. The house is fully furnished, incl. the available room, but if it suits, the bed and desk in the room could removed and the room offered completely unfurnished. There's a nice sofa, TV and sound-system in the cosy lounge. There's also a spare-room with a desk and spare bed in it. It has an air-conn but I've needed to use it as the house tends to stays nice and cool during the summer. During the winter there is a excellent gas heater when it gets a bit cold.

Hi there! This apartment is an awesome 2 storey, 2 bedroom apartment with one bathroom. It's is on the cusp of Brunswick West, Parkville and Brunswick, which means that it's in a quiet neighbourhood, 100m away from Royal Park and only a 5 minute walk to Sydney Road. The apartment is also on a bus line and a tram line (both of which are LITERALLY just outside the door) and is only another 5 minute walk from Royal Park train station. The 55 tram only takes 15-20 minutes to get into the Melbourne CBD. The apartment itself is very new and spacious, so that means you can have a lot of room to yourself if you'd like, but on the flip side, you can also invite friends over. In terms of furnishing, the entire house is furnished except for your room, so the only bit of furniture you will need is what you'd like to have in your room. Both rooms are air conditioned and have BIRs so storage shouldn't be a problem! One thing to note is that I do have cats. They are mainly pretty lazy and welcoming of strangers, but if you do have a cat allergy, this is probably not the place for you.
