Hi all, so I am looking to relocate to a new apartment but within the building where I currently live so this is pretty much a 'team up'. The photos are from my current apartment but are pretty much the same layout to all the apartments available in this building (also please note I am a terrible photographer and I have no idea why it looks so dark, the apartment is not dark!). (see links below for the realestate ads of the ones I am looking at). I have spoken to the building manager who has said that if I can find someone to sign on to a lease with me we could pretty much have our pick of the apartments listed. Ranging in price from $470-$490 pw and rent would be split 50:50 as the bedrooms are the same size and we would both have our own bathroom! All of the apartments are beautiful and modern with really generous sized bedrooms with built in robes and they all have two bathrooms one of which would be yours. The apartments have a large modern kitchens with island benches and lots of storage with omega appliances and dishwasher. There is a european style laundry with space for washer and dryer (I don't have either of these but willing to purchase if we need). The complex has a heated pool and spa and is located just across the road from the huge royal park, the wetlands and manningham reserve. It's a five min walk to both a tram stop and train station (co-located) which get you to the city in ten mins (train) or 15 mins (tram). The 59 tram route is goes past Melbourne Uni, the hospitals and vic markets or goes north to Flemington and Moonee Ponds as well. I am wanting to relocate within the building because I really love the location and the apartment and since my housemate has to leave anyway I thought a little upgrade to a ground floor or nicer orientated apartment might be in order. Unfortunately one of our housemates is moving out with her sister so we have one room available soon in our cosy, light filled 3 storey unit. The room on offer fits a queen bed, has a built in robe and shares a bathroom with two other people. Our unit is super homely and has a cute little courtyard complete with a veggie garden. Kitchen and lounge have everything you need including our android TV box which you can use to stream movies and TV shows! We also have a garage which we mainly use to store bikes etc but also has some couches as a little hang out spot. Our unit has the advantage of being on a major road (Flemington Rd) but without the noisy traffic as we are set at the back of the property. We are right on the doorstep of the 57 and 59 trams, taking only 15 mins to get to the city. Flemington Bridge train station is a 10 min walk away. Just a couple mins by tram or 15 mins walk to the heart of North Melbourne and 10 min tram ride to Queen Vic markets. Uni Melb is only a 15-20 min walk (depending where your classes are).
