Hi flatmate-ers, We have a very decent sized room to rent in Coburg with built in robes. Looking for a cool person to take one of the rooms, and share the house with a couple - one guy and one girl. (3 people total) The room measures in at about 3.5m x 3.5m, and has pretty big robes and shelves built in. You'd need to furnish your own room, but everything else in the house is pretty set (unless you had stuff you wanted to add). House: The house is a 3 bedroom house, with one room shared by a couple, one room for rent (it's about the same size maybe a bit bigger) and one spare room. The house has a nice little front lawn, 2 lounge rooms (for some reason) with one of them being attached to a fairly spacious kitchen. The lounge room attached to the kitchen is pretty far away from the rooms, so is great to separate the night owls from the early birds. Unfortunately no dishwasher, and only the one bathroom/toilet. Pretty tiny paved back courtyard as well. There is also a nice garage out the back which we don't use for parking as it's a bit hard to get into. We treat it as another room, or for storage. Bills: Pretty decent unlimited internet, and we like to split all bills three ways. Rent and internet ends up being $730 (includes internet but not the other bills) each month, with the other bills (elec/water/gas) coming at varied times. The price at on the front of the ad is the weekly amount which I got by $730x 12 months divided by 52 weeks. We've got an A/C and heater in one of the lounge rooms, but we kinda try to use it sparingly if possible as it's pretty wasteful. Happy to change this. The house is currently on being rented month to month. Location: Just off bell street. Short drive to woolies and train station (probably a 10/15 minute walk otherwise). Hello there! We have one room available to rent in our lovely big house in Brunswick West. The room that we have available has two seperate sections, a bedroom area and a lounge/study section separated by a door, as well as a big double wardrobe. This room is $220 per week including internet and foxtel, all other bills are additional. This room shares the main bathroom (with spa bath) with only 1 other person. There are 5 bedrooms in total, 3 of them have ensuites and the other 2 do not. We're all very busy professional people and it's a rare (and exciting) event for us all to be home at the same time. The ideal housemate will be a happy and friendly busy bee like us, someone that is up for a chit chat and a wine here and there but has a life of their own. At the moment we are 3 girls and 2 guys aged 20 to 26. We are not fussed if you are a girl or a guy - as long as you are a generally clean and tidy nice person. The shared spaces include the kitchen (with walk-in pantry),one big main lounge room with foxtel, a separate dining room, and a 2nd lounge room/guest bedroom, the laundry which has a washing machine and dryer.
