International Students welcome. Its a lovely old home 4klm from the City. The bus feeds directly into North Terrace/Adelaide Uni/UNISA City East campus from Stop 10 on Magill Road and takes about 10-15 mins to get into the City in off-peak times. This B10 bus is also on the direct route to UNISA Magill campus via Magill Road which would also take about 10-15 mins. The house is old but very comfortable and everything works. The rent (you will not be asked to pay any more! ) covers all Bills including Electricity, Gas, Water and we have Telstra BigPond Cable Internet - very fast and UNLIMITED which is also included in the bills. Initially we have our smaller/temporary room available for you from 8th January 2018 @ $155/week but this room has been reserved from March 2018. In March 2018 you would transfer to the larger (double size) room @ $170/week when that then becomes available. You can see photos of both rooms in the ad. Both rooms come fully furnished and generally speaking the accommodation is similar to Homestay but without food/washing included (ie: many things like cleaning/gardening detergent/toilet paper etc are included). This share house will suite the discerning and considerate yet social and interesting housemates who want to contribute to a functional and friendly share house. The house is very large with different spaces which can accommodate social activities as well as quiet times. There are outdoor spaces, fruit trees and even a chicken run so we even have fresh eggs. There is a second toilet next to the laundry. The plan that I've uploaded should give an idea of the layout of the house. The kitchen is substantial in size with reasonably modern appliances and will have a large table and chairs for dining. The lounge is comfortable furnishings and another good space to retreat to. The bathroom is large and functional and freshly painted throughout.
Pretty relaxed living space - great for studying and close to city, Norwood shops etc. Very old villa with lots of rustic charm and a nice garden with plenty of room to start veggie patches/ pursue hobbies etc. It's a lush place that is surely very inviting for those with a green thumb. The house is very old, circa 1880 and was likely one of the first establishments in the area. Yep they sure don't build them like they used to, and this old beast has certainly stood the test of time. With it comes the energies of families, lovers, artists and travelers from all walks of life across many different parts of the world. The space is a quiet place and best suited for those who like peaceful living, with the occasional dinner with friends and good banter. I have a large double room available at the front of the house. It has been recently repainted and has a queen bed, large standing desk, shelving and open hanging space for clothes. It is a comfortable space with lots of room. I would ideally like a couple in this room as it reduces rent and makes living here quite cheap, however i am open to single applicants also. With three people here it's $100 each per week, which includes ADSL. Water and electricity are extra and charged quarterly. I like being around people who are light hearted with a sense of humour, and preferable experience with share-house living.
