Downstairs you will have your own entrance, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom/laundry/kitchenette + media room. You also get your own patio with beautiful view. We can either leave the bedroom furnished, or you can bring your own stuff, let us know what suits. Your section downstairs can be self-sufficient, however keep in mind we all need access to all areas (washing machine for us, upstairs kitchen for you). Our section upstairs is 2 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. There's also an amazing patio with outside couch, tv and another dining area. Internet is already connected. Parking is on-street. Heaps of storage room downstairs (there's a cellar).
The bedroom offered is unfurnished but has built ins, a ceiling fan and 2 large windows. The property has air conditioning in the lounge room, a fully fenced backyard and a bus stop right outside. The house stays quite cool in the hot weather which is awesome. The kitchen is old but everything works and there is lots of storage. Bathroom is modern. There is a second toilet in the laundry but we rarely use it. Outdoor area has a big table for hanging out, herbs which you can use in your cooking and is the designated smoking area. Possibly pets allowed but it depends on Pickles the cat. She is super chill with humans but has been an only child furbaby for a long time. We need someone to go on the next lease with David for 12 months which is from July 2019. But the room is ready now though.
We currently have 2 rooms up for occupancy. One is $150 per week and includes a shared bathroom and the other is $200 which has it’s own bathroom as an added bonus. There is ample parking as we have our own car park shared with the girls guides which is rarely used. There is also an abundance of bus stations and a train station near arby. We welcome all guests of all backgrounds to the property. The scenario we have is that we have a lease ending in 3 months and 2 housemates leaving by May 1. This would suit people looking for a short term stay or looking to get out of a current situation until moving onto something more permanent. This 20th floor apartment is a rare find here in Fortitude Valley. Hi, I am looking for someone to take over my bedroom in this wonderful open Queenslander in Fairfield (inner city/south Brisbane) that has recently been renovated. I have been living in this beautiful house for over a year and sadly will miss it when I relocate back to the Gold Coast. My move out date is flexible as I don’t have a set move out date yet. This house is in an extremely convenient location with only a 9 minute drive to Southbank, or if you prefer to commute via public transport there is a train station at the end of the street (far enough away to never hear the train) and small shopping complex one street behind that has bus stops. The shopping complex has a Coles, Aldi, Post Office, Library, gym, Grill’d and a bar (for those sneaky nights out, no need to drive home). There is plenty of off-street parking space in our rarely large drive way. The yard is fully fenced off and is a generous size with a vegetable patch and with plenty of storage space under the house. The house has high ceilings and timber floors throughout and gets lots of morning sunlight throughout the main areas of the house. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a built-in shelf for the microwave, double basins (which are deep) if you prefer to hand wash your dishes and has a walk-in pantry. The main bathroom has a shower and toilet, and the second bathroom has a toilet and another space to store toiletries. We have a massive sunroom that has enough space to fit a study area, storage, sun chair, plants (whatever your heart desires).
