Greetings! I’m looking for a peaceful soul to share my bushland sanctuary with. Someone who's clean & lives an eco-friendly type of existence… because we’ll drive each other nuts really quickly if you’re not that way inclined. You can potentially have 1 or 2 unfurnished bedrooms of your own - meaning you can use the second as a study, chill space or whatever. $175/week for one room; $225/week for two. I don’t like the drama of living with lots of people, so won’t be looking for a second housemate to fill the other room. As well as me, the ¾ acre block’s home to 2 indoor-only kitties, an indoor-only turtle, an egg production team (quails), & an abundance of feathered, furred, scaly & spiky wildlife. Not a suitable place for dogs & there are already enough cats here, but I’ll consider other animal companions you may have. Internet & electricity are included in rent cost. Ceiling fans throughout the house. Built-in cupboard in each bedroom. Reticulated water for showering, toilet, washing etc. Solar hot water system. Filtered tank water for drinking. 5min drive (20min walk) to the Logan Hyperdome bus terminal & M1. Buses along the street during peak hour for commuters. Across the road is state forest (joining onto national park) with some of the best mountain bike trails in Queensland (or so my clients who ride well tell me - I stick to the paved path through the forest). The bathroom & toilet are separate, but shared with female housemate. Bathroom has an amazing HUGE bath, as well as shower, 2 sinks & heaps of cupboard/drawer space. Heads up, if you’re vegan, I do consume animal products a few days a week; but will always respect the need to not contaminate your kitchen gear in the same way I expect others to respect my needs with this issue (I’ve got a couple of food allergies).
