Teneriffe is great area surrounded by many wonderful cafes, restaurants and bars. The apartment is an airy and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a small courtyard off the bedrooms and generous balcony overlooking quiet bushland and Teneriffe Park. It is on James Street, known for it's lovely cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. It is a beautiful Queenslander and we have the garden flat complete with a deck and a built in BBQ for those nice summer dinners! It is beautifully furnished throughout and has air conditioning. Kitchen is modern with dishwasher and all the cooking gadgets you would need! Bathroom comes with bath + shower. Bills are split (gas, electricity and really fast internet) The room is a single room and comes furnished. I don't think about 'equality.' It's a given. I'm open to folks of all walks.

Our block has James street at one end and Brunswick at the other. So we are surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops, ect. New farm park is a short walk with the Power House just next to that. There are weekend markets providing ample dog spotting opportunities as well as food ect. The Brunswick end is where one of the new public elevators takes you down the cliffs to what was the river walk. Now an amazing public area with parks, walk ways, bars, restaurants, and surprisingly good chill out spots. Google it. and even if we don't live together, you should go there. The apartment building itself is fairly old. The room is basic but large windows on both front side walls makes it feel very open. I really love New farm and the apartment. Its peaceful as its cut off by the river. But still right in the middle of everything that's good about living in a city. Its really beautiful. I don't mind if you would like to go on the lease or not. We can work all that out. I would prefer a female as I have always lived with girls. If you would like further info on that creepy statement Ill be happy to put you in contact with previous roomies :) At the moment there is no Wifi. Only because I have a huge data plan on my phone that I use but you are more than welcome to set Wifi up. Street parking is very rarely an issue. On a bad day you may have to park a few houses down. From there I can piggy back you if need be. Im open minded and understanding so all in all Im just looking for a reasonable person who understands that living with others will not always be perfect but at least we can try our best to enjoy it. If you are the type to leave postit notes on things with complaints then this is not the place for you. Also you should stop doing that.
AMAZING location right next to James street, literally walk out and you are in the heart of James street within 15 seconds. The room is a good sized room, with super comfy queen sized bed and frame all you need is your linen pillows and quilt (or the bed can be placed into storage) + large closet with roof to floor mirrors plus a balcony right in front of your room which can be closed to make a large outdoor setting for dinners / drinks / chill outs. You have your own bathroom with a large shower and toilet. The apartment is full high end furnished with everything as seen in the photos, TV, BOSE sound system, uber comfy lounge, all cooking appliances, plates, glasses etc. Just need your items. Also aircon throughout the whole apartment and yes you can run the aircon as much as possible with no issues. The complex also has a pool, bbq area and large outdoor setting for sun baking. Even though you are in the heart of James St it is super quite. Parking is no issue as well with a resident permit which cost $15 for 12 months and you can get a permit same day. Internet can be connected but I currently just run hotspot off my phone, power + gas every 1/4, water is included in rent.
I've just signed a lease for this property and excited for the move. It's on a very quiet lane and close to the river walk and ferry terminal (less than 5 min). Also situated just off Oxford street so it is a short walk to restaurants, cafes, grocery store and shops. It also has a large pool and bbq area. The living area has aircon but the spare bedroom does not. I will purchase a good quality fan for this room. Both rooms are a decent size as well as both bathrooms and the laundry is separate. The second room also has semi private access to the bathroom due to an extended wall. Built in closets included. I'm offering the 2nd room at less than half rent to allow for no aircon or car park. The main draw card for me for this property was location, location, location. It's a very quiet leafy area but still walking distance to everything you would need.
