The view of the city from the big, open and light living space is by far the best attribute about this apartment. But there are lots of things it has going for it... It's brand new and has never been lived in (well, before I moved in 6 weeks ago). If you love to cook (like I do) the kitchen is amazing; Miele appliances make cooking a breeze. If you don't like cooking, the place is in walking distance from everywhere! 2 mins to Brunswick St in one direction and another 2 mins in the other direction to James St. Each room and the living area has ducted and individually controlled reverse-cycle air conditioning. Rent includes your own private room and the main bathroom. Ideally you'd be happy to share the main bathroom when guests are over. You also have your own car park in a secure complex (there is a 2 car, tandem car park for the unit). If you don't have a car, I'll take your car space and your rent drops by $30. Your room is unfurnished but the rest of the house is completely furnished. There isn't a couch at the moment as it didn't fit in the move, but this will be on it's way in the new year - or feel free to BYO. I have a great room available just off Brunswick St in Newfarm. It's close to everything you need, Merthyr Village is only a 10 minute walk away, and 15 mins to either the Valley or Newfarm Park. 20 min walk to the city or Alternatively, the 199 and 196 bus stops are only a short walk up the road, that will get you there to! The complex has its own pool, and the unit itself comes with a huge outdoor area, that gets plenty of sun. The unit has 2 bedrooms, and two bathrooms, you will have the main bathroom mostly to yourself, and one of the rooms , which comes with a built in wardrobe. Hello, you look nice today! We’re looking for a housemate to share our new rental property in Wandoo Street, Fortitude Valley. You know what I like about Fortitude Valley? Everything! You’re going to be living in a new(ish) 2 level apartment, with polished floorboards, a balcony off the living room with city views, three bedrooms (one of them is yours) SPOILERS: the others are ours, gas oven, 2 and a half bathrooms. You’ll be sharing one of these with Hollie, but it’s cool because she’s neat and so are you. There’s an XL wine rack built in to the kitchen, and a cupboard under the stairs if you have any magical pre-teens you wish to house. There’s also a pool and the most delicious coffee you will ever put in your mouth, right next door to the building. We have all of the stuff for the house like fridges, the worlds most comfortable couch and at least 3 spatulas. You just need to bring the stuff for your bedroom. A little about us: Hollie is a 25 year old professional female, Mikayla, a 24 year old less professional female. Full-time workers by day, full-time banter by night. We’re small town folk but have been in Brisbane for a few years, so we have lots of friends (seriously, we are super popular) that may occasionally make guest appearances for beverages and to partake in some of the aforementioned banter. Right next to James Street, our apartment is in a great location. With uninterrupted city views, an apartment swimming pool, private patio and ensuite this is a great place to choose. We are a professional couple (in our early 30s) looking for a friendly, clean flatmate for the beginning of February. Our current flatmate is moving out as they're moving to the coast for work. Sick apartment in the heart of the valley, pretty much on James street. Biggest room in the house, and for an apartment it's really spacious. Has a built in double wardrobe, room for a queen/king plus all the trimmings (dresser, desk etc). Share bathroom with yours truly, but don't worry I'm clean & tidy. Other housemate has an ensuite, plus there's a 3rd toilet downstairs. Apartment itself has a large living & a dining area plus a spare room for friends/family/crap you don't wanna throw out but don't ever want to look at. All rooms have aircon, plus the living area. We have a washer & dryer and the rest of the house is fully furnished. Bedroom can come with bed if need be, plus I think there's a spare bedside table floating around if you need it. If not don't stress, in the spare room they go! Haha Apartment building has secured entry & we have two car park spaces in the undercover car park which is also secure. Has a pool as well which is a god send in summer. Neighbours are chilled & friendly, never had any issues. Unfortunately not pet friendly but I used to sneak a dog in for visits every now and again, so more than happy for you to do that as well! Lol. Bills are payed quarterly. Looking for someone ideally around our age, but would look at people from around 21-35 I guess. Would like them to be working full time, friendly, social, good sense of humour and chilled out.
