We live in the new complexes that are only a year old, 2 mins away from the esplanade, air conditioning, 2 mins walk from little corner stores, 10 min walk to the train station, 5 mins away from the Birkdale Fair (which has restaurants, post office, woolworths, chemist, hairdresser etc) and a bus to the capalaba interchange just outside the complex. You would need to be put on the lease in replacement of the previous tenant too. The lease ends mid november so we are looking for someone who can commit until that time.
I love living in the Town house complex. Every one is very friendly and enjoy times with our neighbours in the pool. I have a lovely 14 year old cat, so I don't think we would be allowed to have another pet. I'm a mature, but not conservative woman, and am easy going most of the time. Would like my flatmate to be of similar age. Not into parties any more, but still up for a social gathering every now and then. Aircon upstairs and down. There is a shower and separate bath as well as a toilet in the bathroom upstairs and a toilet down stairs. Looking forward from hearing from lots of lovely people. Sue.

I own the property and have been sharing for over 8 years. I've had over 110 beautiful people living with me, from all over the world. The house has alot of character and the BIG room available at the moment has been home to 2 tradies over the past 5 years. Each have stayed for 2 1/2 years., both becoming part of the family and though they have moved on to their "own space" they still come around and visit and enjoy a home cooked meal :-) We have a pool, BBQ, Foxtel and a kayak. Other than a lonely birdbath, the backyard is rather empty. But the grass is green and it is flat and easy to maintain. Both front and rear lawns are nice and flat - not difficult to mow. I am looking for a housemate that will pitch in with outdoor maintenance (lawn and weeds). The whole place has been well cared-for in inside and out, keeping things hassle-free for the landowners and I would ask that this continue.
