A spacious bedroom, unfurnished with own bathroom. The rest of the flat is furnished (besides a couch). There is a nice big balcony which is perfect for growing plants or entertaining. The complex is in an amazing convenient location - close to Braddon, the city and the O’Connor shops. There is a secure underground parking and storage cage. Tree-lined street is safe and quiet. Rent is $515p/fortnight paid 2 weeks in advance. Bond is one month rent. Internet is wireless and $35 a month. The electricity bill is usually around $150-$200 each a quarter.
(Photos are a mix of Real Estate photos from before we moved in and ones I’ve taken since). The available room is $235 per week plus bills and unlimited internet is an additional $23 per month. Bond is $985 (full bond divided by 3 people instead of room prices x 4). The three bedrooms are upstairs and the room up for offer has a built in wardrobe and is big enough to fit a queen bed. The bathroom is nice and new with a separate shower/bath and is shared with Marie. Our other housemate Grom has his own ensuite. Downstairs has a combined kitchen living area that opens onto the backyard, with a garage attached and an additional toilet which is pretty handy. The house is mostly furnished but the bedroom comes unfurnished (if you have a front loader washing machine that would be a bonus, unfortunately I’m taking mine). Send me a message if you’re interested with a little about yourself. Any potential roommates will need to be reference checked and approved by the real estate to go on our lease.
The house is relaxed but clean and with plenty of character. Some physical inclusions in the house are a dishwasher, washing machine and tv. There is also an independent bedroom and living area occupied by a couple who also share the kitchen and laundry. The backyard is relatively large for inner Canberra, with trees, outdoor seating, a garage used for storage, compost bin and clothes line. The bedroom itself is on the second floor, is furnished, large, has an inbuilt wardrobe and large west-facing windows (great afternoon sun).

You’ll be sharing with me, a young professional female working in the public service; independent and but friendly and happy to have a chat, watch netflix and share dinner with you from time to time. There's also my shy rescue cat who is sure to not bother you, but it would be nice if you liked cats. Car parking is available within the complex as well as on-street. The apartment and complex common areas are strictly non-smoking. Bills: Electricity and fast internet will be split evenly between the two of us. Preference for someone willing to commit to at least 6 months although willing to consider shorter terms if required.
Hi! We’re two guys in our twenties looking for someone to move in with us in our new place in Turner. The house has a beautiful north facing living room connected to a huge kitchen and dining area. There are also spacious front and back yards, as well as a deck out the back for entertaining. From our house it’s a 3 minute walk to the closest tram stop, 10 minute walk to Lonsdale street and 18 minute walk to Civic. Additionally, the local O’Connor shops are 5 minutes away, with an IGA, doctor and Canberra’s world-famous Polish club. The available room is west facing looking on to black mountain and has a built in wardrobe. It is unfurnished but can comfortably fit a double bed and clothes rack, and there is additional storage in the hall should you need it. The room also includes a driveway car spot. We’re looking for someone who is social and easy going, but also conscious of others. Ideally we’d be looking for someone who is keen to have a chat and hang out sometimes when home together, but also happy to chill and do their own thing. Basically we’d like something more than a stranger living in the spare room. We both work full time, so if you have a similar work schedule that would also be great. Also, we’d be looking for someone to move in as soon as they can! LGTB+ friendly No pets (sadly)

ABOUT ME I'm a thirties female Canberra native and a good source of information if you're new to town. I'm quiet-living yet friendly and social; enjoy meeting new people, engaging in interesting conversations and attending live acoustic music events - contrary to popular belief there is always something happening in Canberra! Over the years I’ve hosted many international and interstate students and professionals and the apartment offers an excellent landing pad for those new to town! I love cultivating my balcony garden, an eclectic range of music, cooking fresh and healthy foods and hanging out with the cat. Also enjoy daytrips to the coast for ocean swimming and exploring surrounding national parks on weekends. I'm a keen skier and snow lover and frequent Thredbo during the winter months. VALUES a quiet, clean and tidy, friendly, welcoming and relaxed home environment, and respect the need for privacy and quiet times. I’m environmentally conscious, diligent with recycling, try to minimise waste, remain conservative of energy use, and seek the same in any person who would come to share my home. If you are seeking a non-smoking, clean and tidy, friendly, welcoming and relaxed home environment, and appreciate the bonus of a friendly and affectionate cat then I'm interested in hearing from you!
This property is located in the heart of Canberra - it's on Northbourne, is a 10-minute walking distance from Canberra Centre, near a bunch of restaurants and bars, and located close to the light rail and public transport. It's a great place to live in summer, as there are two pools in the apartment complex!
Looking for a flatmate to share with me and my two lovely dogs, so must be a dog person. Great location in Turner with 2 courtyards, veggie patch and large kitchen. Room on offer fits a double bed and desk and has built in robes but it is not a large room. Close to Northbourne so is great for catching the tram and there's also a lockable garage that can be used to store car or other things.
