This house is in a nice residential street with plenty of on-street parking, a nice front-yard and a big back-yard with a huge patio that we've lined with couches (see the pics), which basically functions as an outdoor living room. It's really well-lit, modern and clean with a decently equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, gas stove and oven) and central heating. There is a veggie patch that any would-be housemate could have free reign over if they're interested. Location-wise, we are literally a five minute walk from Northland which covers almost everything (supermarkets, delis, gym, restaurants, a big Hoyts, and a heap of buses departing) - but you can barely see or hear it from our house; best of both worlds! We are also reasonably close (15 min walk) to the 86 tram and of course being in Preston you have the Preston market with everything that has to offer. Also only a few minutes from the Darebin Creek Trail which lets you cycle all the way down through the city.

We are also close to Grimshaw St where a number of other buses can be caught. We are looking for someone who is clean and down with having a cleaning schedule. We aren't meticulous but if you can unload a dishwasher and wield a mop thats a plus. This terrace house has a lovely street appeal and is located in a well looked after, secure and pretty neighbourhood. There is a built in wardrobe with lots of room for your clothes and shoes, with two windows that display a lovely view, especially when the sun is setting :) We are located next to Greensborough road which can be busy, but is close to public transport. A bus stop is located directly next to the house that will conveniently take you to the Greensborough plaza precinct or the Heidelberg shopping strip. Trains are approximately 20 mins walk to either Macleod or Watsonia Station. However, if you are a driver, than these trips will take you approximately 5 minutes or less! Isn't that awesome! I personally have found the area to be quite safe and I enjoy the area for its parks and reserves that are within walking distance.
