Very cute place, in a great location with an awesome housemate! We are a bottom floor unit in a very quiet leafy cul de sac in Waverton. It is more like a house that has been converted into units. The gardens surrounding the unit are beautiful and we have a nice little courtyard for our unit. We are only 5 minutes walk to Waverton Train Station, Crows Nest and North Sydney. It is so close to fun, city life, but it is so quiet and filled with beautiful greenery here, so it doesn't feel like the city is so close. You can see the harbour bridge from our street and it is a short walk to Balls Head Reserve with more awesome views. The apartment is a nice size, with a modern kitchen and open plan living. It is well insulated so does not get too warm in summer or too cold in winter. Your room is big enough to fit a queen bed, wardrobe and drawers (will not be furnished). My current housemate is taking most of the furniture in the house to her next place, so I will be sourcing stuff over the coming weeks, but if you have any furniture to bring with you that is a bonus :) There are spots on the street that you can park with no time restrictions if you have a car, just let me know and I can show you. The bills are additional to the rent - electricity and internet. Feel free to split my Stan and Netflix bill too, if you would like to share the cost and get your own user on my account (completely optional). I also have 2 little kitties who are very friendly and love a cuddle. They have a cat door and let themselves in and out as they please and they will definitely make you feel welcome!

I've just signed a lease for a large 2 bedroom flat in Waverton. It's a top floor apartment with plenty of light coming in with views of the city. It also has a nice small balcony perfect to have bbq's and a few drinks on. The apartment will come furnished apart from your bedroom. With most of the the appliances and couches being relatively new.The second bedroom is big and will fit any size bed you might have as the room is 4metres by 3 metres wide. The street is very quiet with plenty of parking spots around. It's a very short stroll down to Waverton train station and everything Waverton has to offer. Located half way between Wollstonecraft and Waverton train stations. Only 5 minutes away, and only a couple stops on the train to the CBD. Cafes are nearby as well as an IGA and Crows Nest Woolies is within walking distance. The estate has 3 swimming pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor lap pool) as well as tennis courts and a gym with sauna. The unit is air conditioned, with a big balcony. Great views to Berry Island looking west so we get awesome sunsets. Our place is super accessible, 3min walk to the train station (but you can't hear the trains!), and 10mins into the city by train. 10mins walk to Crows Nest which is a great food precinct. The suburb is super leafy, wide roads and feels like you are living in the suburbs. We have a large, well kept apartment, it has a great view of the Anzac bridge and plenty of sunlight. Our neighbours are really friendly, we have a garage for storage, use of the garage for a car is negotiable, otherwise there is plenty of street parking.

Crows Nest shops are a 10 minute walk away making eating out, having a social drink and shopping really convenient. There are plenty of great spots for walking or jogging (which we do a fair bit of), picnicking or simply lounging in. We are also a reasonably close 6 km's away from Balmoral beach!
