We have a short term room available. From the front door you can walk to subiaco or leederville, Or you could get on your bike and be in the city in 8 minutes. Jump in your car and you are at the beach in 9 minutes. great café 2 mintes walk away. We are relaxed and easy going. We love doing things, usually out for a surf on the weekend and having a good convo over a good meal. We also love our down time and will sometimes find us chilling out in the evenings. I work as a landscape architect and am finishing my M. of architecture, Adam is working as an Engineer in Subiaco and Alannah works as a Speech Therapist at Charlies. You're going to love this place. Close to some great little cafes in Wembley we're a couple of minutes walk from lake Monga and a few more minutes to Leederville. It's a large house which allows us to all live somewhat independently and have our own space. Having said that, there's an awesome outdoor area for BBQ's and the kitchen works well for dinner parties (not that we're having raging parties all of the time). There's plenty of parking and its close to public transport. Just me and Luciana at the moment (1 guy, 1 girl, both working professionals, not a couple). We enjoy the occasional drink, don't smoke and are out most of the time on weekends. We're both quite clean and whilst we enjoy a chat we're not living out of each others pockets. Bedroom up for grabs comes with some furniture if you need it and its quite a large room. How large you ask... well... last housemate had a king size bed, a desk, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a piano and still had room for more. This apartment ticks so many boxes. Aside from being just the ideal place to live for the reasons I explain below, it has the added ingredient of friendly neighbours which creates a relaxed vibe that's not entirely common in apartment complexes in my experience. The apartment is modern and clean with the convenience of having two bathrooms and a big balcony which sees the sun from early afternoon to sunset. Your room has built in wardrobes and a semi ensuite bathroom. The complex has a nice pool, BBQ area and a gym. There are cafes, coles supermarket, a gym and one of the best pubs in Perth, JB O Reilly's, on your door step. Also, it's a 10 mins cycle from the city, 10 mins drive from city beach, 5 min walk from the train and 15 min walk to the hub of Oxford street. Awesome location: 5 minute walk to Oxford Street coffee strip, close to CBD, good access to cycle paths and public transport, nearby parks, shops, restaurants, bars, and freeway. The place is currently being done up, so outdoor and living spaces will be improved over the next 6 months! The space is cosy but still has many benefits. The room measures 2970 x 2420 mm. It is still large enough for a double bed and removable wardrobe (available if wanted). It also access to a sunset-facing balcony via sliding doors.
