The property is located 200m from the train station along the train line and is 4 stops from the city, perfect for students. Nice modern apartment. Room comes with a portable air-conditioner and a good cityscape view (which I didn't think to photograph, remind me to get on that). Garage space. 10-15 minute train or bus ride to city (Bus stop to the city is literally at the front door). Shops and restaurants within walking distance too. The apartment is easy to keep clean and looks great. Plus its a floor up and very secure (high and secure enough that there's never any bugs of any kind too). Available Sept/Oct-ish. Pretty flexible to suit your availability :) Oh and, bond is paid straight to me, I'll be happy to help if paying it all in one go is a bit of a hit during the move. Great location close to Valley and Ascot, new apartment (been here for 12 months). Traffic is really easygoing and plenty of all-day parking available on the road outside the apartment. You have your own spacious and light-filled bedroom with massive wardrobe, private outdoor area and your own new bathroom (no fighting for the mirror or shower!) It's also really quiet considering it's close-ish to the main road (ease of transport without the noise of a main road outside your room) There's a really lovely N facing outdoor courtyard which gets plenty of sun morning and evening. I have lived in the little apartment alone for almost 7 months and have fallen in love with it - sadly I'm never home enough to properly enjoy it so i thought why not share it with someone else. The apartment is 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a garage (so tonnes of storage space). The best thing about it is the fact its within walking distance to (arguably) brisbane's best cafe called "My Mistress" as well as a number of parks and the ascot Sunday markets. We are close to both bus stations as well as a train station. Perfectly located between both a Coles and Woolworths (both in ascot). I bought brand-new appliances when I moved in and the property manager recently replace the oven and bathroom sink/tiling so everything is nice and new. The room for rent is the one pictured as a study (which is what I'm using it for currently); can comfortably fit a double bed and has a built in wardrobe you can't see in the picture. Internet is $30/month Electricity and Water are not included in the rent (my last bill for 3 months was $130 for electricity) I have Netflix and a projector so you're totally welcome to binge watch shows with me oh and the apartment has an aircon - but I've never really had to use it because the place always has a super nice breeze flowing through I love living in a very communal home - if i buy milk its for both of us. id love to have a roommate that was looking for the same type of environment.
