Hi, I am looking to rent two rooms in a three-bedroom house in Deakin. Both rooms are about the same size, with one having a built in wardrobe. In addition to the rooms for rent there is a study/spare room, one bathroom and an extra toilet, a pergola out back, a garage, backyard and car parking on the property, but not under cover. The kitchen and living room are fully furnished and the house has ducted gas heating. There is also a washing machine and dishwasher. The house is close to the Deakin shops (10min walk, 950m) and a short drive from the city (about 7 min by car, ANU:9min, UC:15mins). Both rooms can be fully furnished if you preferred. Rent is $180 a week, not include utility costs.
The area is quiet and beautiful. Close to shops, public transport, schools and and if you like keeping fit a gym and red hill reserve/lookout. Lake burley Griffin is not far either to enjoy and relax at. Manuka, civic and woden are 7min drive away. The house itself sits on the corner and has a big backyard. Inside it spacious, with a library/study, family room, and two living rooms. The kitchen is for everyone to use as well as the dining room and laundry. Meals are included in the rent and you will be part of rhe community in the house as well as have space to keep to yourself. The rules are simple to follow. With you requiring to clean up are yourself, keeping bathroom/toilet tidy and bedroom reasonable and keep the noise down after 10.30pm.
**Three month short term room** I am renting out my room as I'm completing a three month placement in rural NSW. We also have a big double garage and plenty of parking areas. Toasty central ducted heating keeps us warm throughout the house :). Our house is situated across the road from the Curtin shops. All you need to do is cross the street for your supplies – Coles, organic grocer, bookshop, pharmacy, medical clinic, bottle shops, cafes, bakeries and more. Our beautiful garden is bountiful in harvest – you can stuff yourself silly with delicious figs, olives, lemons, pears and grapes!

We have a lovely, sunny room for rent in our spacious 4 bedroom house in Griffith. Room is 3.6m x 3.4m with a wardrobe included. You'll be sharing the bathroom and standalone toilet with two others. Room is currently occupied so there's some furniture in there, but it'll be gone by the time you're ready to move in. There's space in our garage for another car as well as plenty of on-street parking. Utilities and unlimited broadband and (most importantly) are split equally between the four of us. Easy ten-minute walk to Manuka or Griffith shops, with plenty of parks around. We're three professional young guys, all with pretty active social lives but we also enjoy relaxed nights in at home and the occasional shared meal. We make the most of our deck and backyard in summer with BBQs and the like.
