The house is a cottage-style home in Yarralumla (furniture in photos is not the same as in the house, but a similar set up). Right up from the Yarralumla shops and close to the lake (about 100m from each). It's about 5kms from the city. The bike path is across the street and is separate from the road all the way along the lake. A short car ride to most places since it's near the city, Woden and highways connecting the outer suburbs. The house has hardwood floors throughout and carpet in the living area with a good heater. The kitchen is pretty big and there is a dishwasher. One great thing about this property is the amount of storage space - cupboards and closets everywhere. The room that is free has a queen size bed in it with room to spare plus two built-in storage spaces and blackout curtains. The front foyer has a little atrium that is used as a sunning spot for a number of indoor plants. There is one bathroom with a bath (with jets) and shower overhead, and there are two toilets in the house. The front yard is small and nicely hedged with some impressive evergreens that line the street. There is a sweet undercover area out the back with BBQ and a big outdoor table for summer eats outside. The backyard is large-ish and easy care with an old very productive fig tree, an apricot tree, lemon trees and other flowering trees and bushes.

The house is in a great location, just around the corner from the Curtin shops and near bus stops and nice parks. The bathroom will be shared between 3 and has a separate toilet. The room is a good size. The rest of the house will be furnished but you are welcome to bring anything you might have. There is also a shed out the back for storing excess furniture. There is a decent sized backyard and we've got some hammocks and a fire pit to get cosy by. The real estate photos don’t do this place justice, come take a look!
The house is in a very quiet, leafy street with a large front and backyard that backs onto the nature reserve, so lots of birds and wildlife. The house is fully furnished, although some key items may need replacing as outgoing housemates take things with them. There is ducted heating and timber flooring throughout all rooms. There are two off-street parking spots plus a long-term garage/storage space (safe street parking at other times.) The house is a 10-15 minute drive to both Civic and Belconnen and less than 5 minutes to Woden. The house is a few hundred metres away from a bus stop along the Woden - Civic route. We are within walking distance to Curtin shops and are surrounded by handy running/biking tracks. The starting date is currently set at December 22 when our lease will renew, but pending on the plans of outgoing housemates this may be somewhat flexible. We would need you to sign on to a 12-month lease around this time.

Located in the charming National Apartments in Barton, this is a lovely area and is super quiet on weekends. Nice balcony, fully furnished common area, first floor. The room is a single room with shared bathroom arrangement. There is plenty of cupboard space (built ins with mirrors). Ideally would suit a busy professional. A lovely sanctuary.
The flat is very light and spacious. It's within a quiet complex which has a nice communal garden. We are right in the centre of Barton and close to lots of good bars and cafes . The Barton grocer is about 5 mins away and it's about a 15 min walk to the Kingston shops/foreshore. The bedroom has a good sized wardrobe and a nice view. There is a double bed mattress available if you would like to use that. The bathroom is shared. It is quite large with a separate bath and lots of storage. There is a giant water heater so no issues with cold showers :) The living room has floor to ceiling windows out onto the balcony which is nice and leafy. The communal areas of the flat are pretty much fully furnished, but I'm happy to try and make room if you would like to bring anything along. There is a smart tv and happy to share a Netflix account The kitchen is a good size and I have all the basics; appliances, dishes etc. and there is a dishwasher. I just don't have a microwave but if you want to bring one that would be fine. Separate laundry w storage, washer and dryer. There is no air conditioning but the apartment stays pretty cool and we were fine last summer just occasionally using fans. There are wall heaters in the living room/bedrooms. Parking I am already using the allocated undercover parking space for the flat. There is lots of on-street parking around the complex, however most of this is max 2 hours during weekday working hours. There is a row of all day street parking just across the road. My previous housemates have not needed to leave their car during the day so I am not certain how hard it is to get one of these spots. I have checked with the building management if any of the spots in the undercover carpark are available but I am just waiting for their response. I will update this listing when I have this info.
