Belvedere, QLD

Hello. We are located in Belvedere which is 6km north of Innisfail in Far North Queensland. 1 hour drive South from Cairns. 1 hour drive north from Mission Beach. 3 hour drive north from Townsville.
We a seeking an employed full time or part time male. Non smoking.
The room is available now until 25 November 2026. We need the room for overseas visitors for a few days, so if you want long term, we can discuss a way around this quite easily.
The bedroom is directly opposite the main bathroom with bath and walk in shower, and a separate toilet next to it.
The rent includes internet and all the utilities. We ask for one week’s bond.
The room has a queen bed, bedside table, bedside lamp, clock, built in wardrobe, and ceiling fan. A split system air conditioner is due to arrive in the next 10 days and then we need to get it installed. The room has just been painted. The contents of the wardrobe will be removed and it will be empty.
We provide sheets, towels, and pool towels.
We clean once a week, so we do not expect house mates to do this. Only if you want total privacy of your own room, then you would clean it and we would never go in. If you choose this option, we would ask for an inspection each month, only because we had a bad tenant once, who left the room disgusting.
Car parking would be on the street, but if one of the others moves out, then you will get a garage space. You need to have transport as the bus only goes to Innisfail twice a day. If you have a push bike or motor bike, we can fit it in the garage.
We are 2 mature age guys. I work for a supermarket and I am also a qualified masseur and photographer, and I do massage at home, but I don’t get too many bookings in Belvedere. Neil is a school crossing attendant.
We have a 39 year old boarder from Malaysia, (straight) and a 29 year old Australia (straight), so you would be sharing the bathroom with them, unless you want to use the third bathroom which has a toilet, shower and wash basin, but it is outside by the pool.
Three of us swim nude, as the pool is private. (The Malaysian guy does not swim at all). That doesn’t mean that you have to, but it does mean you have to be comfortable that we do. The pool is set at 31c for all year round swimming.
So, five of us in total with 3 bathrooms and 3 garages, in a very, very large house.
We have had many boarders over the years, of many countries and backgrounds, the youngest being 19 and the eldest being 61, so we are well experienced in house share.
We have a 4 year old mini foxy and a 3 year old papillon. If you are not familiar with them, they are small dogs. Alex is the mini foxy at 10kg, fully grown and very energetic at times. Ritchie is the 3kg papillon who is very quiet. They only bark if someone comes to the door.
