We are looking for a housemate 30/40 , potentially long term, to share a beautiful Queenslander!
The room is available as long as listed, no need to ask 😉 Please write a couple words about yourself, like your age, work, interests....
We are in our late 30's and 40´s, employed, and like to find someone like minded to share with.
Rent includes all bills, there is one week bond to pay. The house is a beautiful, renovated, open and spacy Queenslander with a huge timber deck, feels like living outside.
The room is spacious, furnished with a Queen-size bed, new mattress, wardrobe, a solid timber desk and bedside table. You are also welcome to bring your own furniture if you like.
The place has unlimited WIFI, a brand new kitchen (pics to follow), solar panels and brand spec new aircon units. There is gas stove cooking, timber flooring and heaps of undercover space under the house for BBQ's, to hang out, work space and storage if needed. The back yard has a spa to cool down and a firepit to chill around campfires and is very lush and tropical with a huge old mango tree.
The whole place has lots of atmosphere but is also tidy and clean and needs everyone to contribute to keep it that way :) It is not a party or share house at all but we like to have the occasional drink, meal or BBQ, have a couple friends around or do something together....and we rather listen to some music instead of TV noise:)
We (try to) live eco-friendly in not wasting excess electricity and water, avoid plastic packaging and use the compost and recycle bin... and prefer to have someone like-minded to share.
There is a bus stop around the corner and to Piccones shopping center it takes about 5-10 min to walk. Into Cairns CBD it is 15 min by bike.
