About the property
Happy for short or long term - unfurnished room in two bedroom unit (I have a fold out couch in there at the moment that will do in a pinch but it’s not very comfy). Room includes air conditioning, big double mirrored wardrobe with hanging space and shelves, and window with curtains. Second floor unit with balcony and good locks. Loads of visitor parking downstairs in complex. Pool downstairs up back as well, never seen anyone in it except myself lol.
1 minute walk to raintrees shopping centre, 3 minute drive to DFO, 7 minute drive to Cairns Central. Shared bathroom includes washer/dryer, big mirror and decent storage space. Very nervous (previously abused rescue) cat in house that may take a little time to warm up to you but is the sweetest most affectionate boy once he’s comfortable. Not sure how he goes with other cats but would be willing to do a meet and greet with them first. Very LGBTAQ+ friendly and very open minded household :) Bills included in rent!

Hi! I’m 26, work 4 days a week and am looking for a short-term housemate. Must love cats while you’re here as I’ve got a very sweet, very scared boy (Rocky).
I like plenty of my own space but also so enjoy a cheeky glass of wine on the balcony, cooking, just hanging out, watching some dumb sitcom together or having a few friends around. Bonus points if you’re the same sort of mentally ill as I am lmao.
I’m very easy going and friendly. An average day off for me includes some reading/games, maybe visiting my family or going to a creek and going out for a few drinks on a weekend. Will sometimes sit and stare into the void for 12 hours on a Sunday before the work week begins again though. My current book obsession is ACOTAR and my current show is Brooklyn 99.
I do love a clean space but can’t say I’m perfect with it. If you don’t fit with the list I’ve put up you can just swing me a message anyway and we’ll see what we can do, I’m pretty flexible. Would prefer to meet in person before deciding anything.
