FIFO/shift workers prefered :)

We are both fifo workers on different rosters and we’re looking for another housemate who also works away! Week on/off or longer or whatever if it’s boats or mines etc. It works out awesome if we’re all off together to do stuff and then it also works out we all get the place to ourselves at different times too which is ideal :)

The photos are a year old and there is slightly different things in the common areas but I have more photos I’ll get around to adding soon!

Our small complex has a nice pool, we have WiFi, Netflix on the lounge tv, washing machine/dryer, bills included and aircon in furnished queen bed room. Located 2 minutes drive from Cairns Central and 5ish minutes from town depending on the time of day. Parking is on the street outside the complex or if you’re lucky some right on the driveway are free!

Ideally looking for someone trustworthy aged 20-40ish to join our apartment as it is our home and would love likeminded people to join us. We are not a party place - but do enjoy the more than occasional bev and like to keep the bar fridge healthily stocked!! Love gigs and beach days and hanging out together!

We only really have 2 things to mention:

1. We are big on cleaning common areas when finished/bathrooms. We all mop and vac on the regular all the usual stuff, everyone also shares in buying communal kitchen and cleaning products.

2. As you may or may not be aware - Cairns has a bit of crime action going on! We are quite safe in a gated complex but we do take security seriously. There are alarms around the apartment doors so we can have the fly screens open and not worry and cameras around the place inside and out.

Sorry - no pets as we have by-laws here. I mean.. fish bowls would be okay.. and we do have reptiles but they are chill and won’t be out without us around. So you can’t be afraid of snakes!!
