About the flatmates
House is a split level, with downstairs being 2 rooms for rent that have their own shared bathroom. There is also a third room already taken (used 25% of the time). This means that downstairs is quiet nearly all the time and sometimes we have a wallaby or 2 on the lawn. Both floors have their own kitchen and living areas. Half of the yard is natural rainforest and there is only a small patch of lawn in between.
The room that is available is the one in the main picture. You can have a single bed or a queen bed and also a large side desk; or unfurnished.
Upstairs I live with my two boys (boys 50% of time). I mostly work remotely (programmer) and that requires fibre to the premises. We hike, fish, run and enjoy being in FNQ.
Originally we were in Victoria but moved up to Cairns after Covid.
Need to have a Blue Card (working with children check).
