HOUSE SHARE
Hi, my name is Robert, a semi-retired Engineer, in my late sixties (well actually nearly 70) originally from the UK.
I live in a 3 bedroom house (plus study) on my own in a cull de sac in Regatta Waters (Oxenford),
Northern Gold Coast.
It is a quiet estate approx. 150 yards from the Regatta Waters Lake.
The lake is an exercise bonanza with a famous 4km walk, exercise machines, BBQ’s, kayaking, boat ramp etc.
I have two bedrooms to rent out with their own separate bathroom and toilet.
They are available Mid-Feb/March 2026
The two bedrooms and their own toilet/bathroom are at the rear of the house with built in robes. One room has its own TV jack, so you can watch your own telly.
My bedroom is at the front of the house with an ensuite, so we are well separated, but I do use the study a lot which is near the two back bedrooms which are for rent.

The combined living area and kitchen has to be shared by all.
Full kitchen facilities available, lounge room suite with telly and DVD player etc. and a well-equipped laundry, but no dryer.

Bus service is miserable with only one service (723) going to either Coomera or Helensvale.
If you have your own car, it will be more amenable.
Parking will be out on the road.
Oxenford shopping centre is Just up the road.
Westfield Coomera or Westfield Helensvale is approx. 10 minutes drive
GCUH approx. 20 minutes drive.
Main freeway for access to Brisbane etc., is less than 5 minutes away

I do not smoke but smoking will be ok outside in the court yard.
I am usually home for tea and if it helps we can share the cooking.
I do disappear a lot for long weekends with my girlfriend, so you will have the place to yourself over many weekends.
I enjoy a beer and a wine and good conversation. (but don’t mention the current US president, because you won’t like what I have to say)

Would suit two adults who are friends, or one adult who wants both rooms.
$400/week for both rooms includes bills (Water, Elec and Internet).
$400 bond and bring your own beds, bedroom furniture and linen.
Rent preferably to be paid in cash, in advance either weekly or as negotiated. Receipts will be issued, if required
Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living area.
Security screens on all doors and opening windows
Ducted A/C available but not used because of the electricity costs.
Buy your own food and toiletries.
Keep your rooms clean and tidy and the combined living area.
No parties, but close friends welcome.
Any help in the yard would be appreciated.

I require proof of ability to pay the rent and references from prior accommodation (if available).
Please send name, age, gender, employment status (work or student etc.) and photo with intended period of stay. Please advise any pets.
