About the property
Up for rent is my room in our fantastic Mount Stuart home, living with two other brilliant housemates.
A bit about the house 🛏️
The house is located in the hills of Mount Stuart, a 5 minute drive to the city, close to the Hill St Grocer, a 10 minute walk to the North Hobart strip and nearby to bus stops that run frequently through the week. Currently the room will come unfurnished, however I can arrange to leave a few things if need be. There is a large and rather under-utilised lounge room in the house with a great view over the city (You’ll have to trust me on that, the gloomy photos don’t really show it off…) with a large backyard that is maintained by a gardener that comes every few weeks, so no mowing, woohoo! The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cooking equipment and appliances, the bathroom is shared.
The room itself is at the front of the house, well lit and comfortably fits a queen size bed, a large desk, chest of drawers and a clothes hangar. There is also a storage cupboard in the room with some shelves that can be taken out to turn it into a wardrobe.
The bills are split evenly among the three, being electricity, internet and the gardener.
We are looking for people that enjoy the outdoors, don’t mind chatting over coffee and are able to keep their spaces clean and tidy. Working professionals and students are preferred as that mimics to schedules of others in the house.

About the flatmates
Ned (M27) - Ned is a Full-Time working professional. He is an experienced and passionate rock climber, as well as a general lover of the outdoors. He’s a super handy guy, that’s also into his woodworking and makes a brilliant lightly rested Peruvian Catuai-leaning Brazilian blend black coffee… I'm not exactly sure what any of that means, but it tastes bloody good. He is a kind, easy going and very respectful individual who is mindful of shared and personal space.
Keely (F28) - Keely also works Full-Time. She’s an absolute trooper that always has an idea or activity on the go. If you’re an active person that likes run clubs and fast days out on the trail, Keely’s your go to person. She’s an avid trail runner that would give a springbok a run for its money. She’s very easy to talk too, and also very respectful of the household.
