This 4 bed, 3 bath home in Sandy Bay is large and spacious, with a nice patio out back and a balcony overlooking the river Derwent in front. It's also COMPLETELY UNFURNISHED, a blank canvas. The photos shown are from the rental listing.
There is one open parking space in the garage, and more space in the (rather steep) driveway.
We're renting out two of the three empty rooms, and plan to leave the fourth bedroom as an office/guest room so the housemates can have visitors come and stay for short visits.
We expect the larger room will be a better fit for a couple, and is worth a bit more, the smaller rooms are still spacious, but will likely be a better fit for a single person. There are three bathrooms in the home, all with showers, but one is downstairs, all the bedrooms are upstairs. There is a laundry room, separate from the bathrooms. (We'll need to buy a washing machine)
None of the rooms are necessarily claimed yet, so once we have found some good folks we can all discuss more details together.

We're Gabi and Brian, a Chilean-Alaskan couple relocating to Hobart for Brian's master's program at UTAS starting in February. We've just signed a lease on this lovely home in Sandy Bay. Folks who'd like to join us on this 12 month lease will need to be approved by the property management agency.
Gabi is a general dentist from Chile, and Brian is coming from a tiny town in Alaska where he's worked a host of jobs, national park ranger, sea kayaking guide, vice mayor of the city, and for a major tech company in AI automation.
We both love the outdoors and try to get outside as much as we can. We've also done our fair share of traveling and are excited to settle down in Hobart for a while and get to know the flora and fauna of this bioregion.
We both love cooking so a clean kitchen is very important to us, we hope to find housemates who become friends, but that doesn't mean we'll want to be hanging out every second of every day. We know that personal space and private time is important.
