About the flatmates
Hi! We’re a married couple working full-time and looking for a great new flatmate to join our home. Our place is social, easygoing, and very much a “real life” household rather than a super polished show home.
We both enjoy cooking (and eating!), and you’ll often find something happening in the kitchen—shared meals are welcome but totally optional. We’re friendly and chatty when we’re home, but we also respect personal space and downtime after work. Full transparency: we’re not super neat freaks. The house is clean and comfortable, but it’s definitely lived-in, so we’d suit someone who’s relaxed rather than overly precious about perfection.
You’d be sharing the house with us and one other flatmate, a lovely woman in her twenties who also works full-time. Everyone has their own routines, so the house has a nice balance of independence and friendliness.
We also have a young dog who is an important part of the household—he’s very friendly, loves people, and brings a lot of joy (and energy!) to the home. You’ll need to genuinely love dogs, as he’ll happily greet you every day.
We’re ideally looking for someone who is working full-time, reliable with rent and bills, and keen to live in a respectful, positive household. Someone who’s friendly, easygoing, and happy to communicate openly would fit in really well here.
