Ballintaggart is one of the highest houses on the Atherton Tableland (at 960 metres above sea level); and is surrounded on three sides by magnificent world heritage rain forest. The beautiful twelve sided, double story stone and timber mansion; has a large kitchen, two bathrooms, and choices of under cover living areas, both inside and outside.
Ballintaggart has a temperate climate in the tropics; and a fire place for winter. Breath-taking views, incredible wildlife (both diversity and number) including birds, butterflies, possums and tree kangaroos; permanent creeks, waterfalls, organic gardens and orchards. :-)
Ballintaggart is about 20 minute drive from Malanda and 30 minutes from Atherton. It's a little over an hour to Cairns, Innisfail, exquisite beaches, and the Outback.
The Orchard room is upstairs and is furnished and has a ceiling fan.
House occupancy will be limited to 2 or 3 permanent residents.

Ballintaggart is a beautiful 83 hectare property on Mamu country, and has a unique 12 sided double story stone and timber home. It is surrounded on three sides by magnificent world heritage rain forest, with running creeks and waterfalls.
My name is bood, and i am environmentally conscious; and enjoy cooking, studying and gardening. I work online with clients across Australia and the planet, on the property; and off farm. I am not vaccinated for covid, and respect peoples' right to choose what they put into their bodies.
Seeking housemate that enjoys nature, cooking and sharing conversations and activities occasionally. We have excellent wireless internet coverage. Perishable food and consumables are individuals' expense; though shared cooking, meals and cleaning are encouraged.
Family, friends and woofers (willing workers on organic farms) visit occasionally.
