About the property
There is a choice of two rooms, one you share with a cat and the other has aircon. The house is clean, tidy, with a relaxed atmosphere and views into the forest behind. The owner (myself) lives downstairs and my intention is to find two people to rent the rooms upstairs. The house is fully furnished apart from a bed in one of the rooms. The main requirement is that we all get along. The cat stays indoors and is people friendly. He spends most of the night at the main bedroom window upstairs so who ever stays in this room gets to share with the cat :) I spend most of my time downstairs and may only go upstairs one or two times a week to close windows or find the cat. The back yard is a wild forest with some pathways. There is small park across the road and a store/post office close by. There is a limited public transport service.

About the flatmates
I am a 57 year old male living with a 3 year old cat downstairs in a four bedroom house of my own which I built myself. I work as a self employed builder. Typically I leave early each day and I am back in the late afternoon to walk Zeus (the cat) outside and spend my evenings doing bookwork or reading. I enjoy spending time on my own either at home or in nature close by. Occasional I go away. Career wise, I have played a few different roles. I graduated and worked as a civil engineer, later becoming a builder. I also worked overseas in an aid developmental capacity for a few years as well as traveling overseas for some years. I would describe myself as introvert but also enjoy interacting with other.
I am hoping to find people who don't drink or if they do, only do so rarely. I hope to find quiet and easygoing people, stress free. Who ever comes first will also get to decide who comes second as you will be living together upstairs. I am self contained downstairs however I would like to keep it an open share house.
