**UPDATE as of Jan 2026
limited availability from early/mid February
**All of our current/previous housemates are staying temporarily to complete their (visa) farm work hours as we are located close to multiple farms.
Housemates are coming and going regularly so room availability is always opening up although usually booked in advance.
When enquiring, please advise of your required stay dates and your scheduled work hours
We’re on 8 acres, with around half being beautiful native Australian bush and a small cleared area at the front of the property. Loads of space if you’ve got animals (just bring feed, unless you’re keen to grow some grass!). The house is a small, simple solid brick home, nothing fancy, and there’s a large shed about the same size that can be used for storage if needed. The bedrooms are small, with a double bed in the double room and two single beds in the twin room and a queen bed in the 'tiny space' (not a bedroom). Plenty of parking space, peaceful bush surrounds, with plenty of native wildlife around us. We also have a few friendly sheep and one dog.
The property and house is a work in progress with regular maintenance and improvements happening inside and outside. You'd need to be okay with this in shared spaces.
This is a family home. The house is certainly not always tidy, but we are clean.
We’re not far from the coast and have ocean views a few minutes from the property

About me :
I’m a down-to-earth mum with strong values, I live a healthy, natural lifestyle, am vegetarian, love animals, and quietly do my bit for the planet – not a preacher, don't worry! I’m well-travelled and a gypsy at heart – open to people from all walks of life, but definitely not a fan of drama, or trashy, bogan types. Life’s always full and on the go while raising my child. I’ve got a thing for cleanliness and good hygiene – our home’s lived-in and definitely not tidy, but we are clean.
Ideal housemate :
Farm workers, backpackers/travellers, FIFO workers. This is a clean-living home, so non-smokers, drug and alcohol free persons. We’re after respectful, clean, decent people, working or studying outside the home.
Ideally short term stays (up to 6 months) but open to long term stays for the right person.
Pets and farm animals welcome.
I am flexible and open to different scenarios.
