About the flatmates
Hi,
I am an environmental scientist and this is my newly built house just 8 min from Nimbin.
My partner is traveling for 9 months and I am traveling for work and will be in and out of the property during this time.
I enjoy gardening, cooking and have been breakdancing for 20 year (in my 40's and still training hard!). I am also an avid cyclist and have cycled the length of Japan, so enjoy adventure and am quite active (Nimbin has a great new gym - Nimfit).
I enjoy meeting new people and discussing business, politics and world events. I also run an environmental consulting business and work from home when I am in the house, otherwise doing field trips as I work as an industrial / commercial energy auditor (professional nerd).
I enjoy landscaping on this block so am always gardening, mowing and doing new garden projects. Its a great 2 acre block.
I also own another house on a separate title next door that my mum lives in, she keeps to herself but pops up and says hi occasionally.
If your living here it is your house as well so friends, partners and family welcome. It is a really good house for hosting.
Me and my partner moved from Brisbane and designed the house to be attractive as an AirBnB so we can get our Brisbane friends to "come to the country". The house is only 6 months old so great amenity and top notch appliances.
I enjoy my space but am open minded and friendly. I have lived in several share houses in uni as well as when working when I was in Brisbane so am used to respecting others space and cooperating etc.
