We’re looking for people who want more than just a room—those who are hoping to be part of a positive, relaxed household and enjoy having a place that truly feels like home.

Our modern four-bedroom house is centrally located, yet feels like a little slice of country living in the city. It’s surrounded by a beautiful, well-established garden with veggie beds, fruit trees, and several peaceful outdoor spots to relax and unwind—perfect for making the most of the Perth lifestyle. The city, beach and Swan Valley are within easy reach by public transport and the river close for leisurely bike rides and kayaking adventures.

You’ll be sharing the space with our friendly chickens (yes, free eggs!), a couple of parrots, and some indoor and outdoor fish tanks that add to the calm, homely feel.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome (sorry, no cats). We already have pets and occasionally dog-sit for friends, so it’s important that any pet is respectful of the space. Any damage or mess caused by your pet would be your responsibility.

Rent:
$310 per week for a single person
$425 per week for a couple
Reasonable bills, based on past usage, are included and fixed for 12 months

We’d love to live with people who:
- Enjoy gardening and don’t mind the occasional weed-pull
-Like animals and are happy to help care for them
- Treat the home as their own and feel comfortable keeping things ticking along when we’re away
- Are looking for a long-term place to settle
- Share a similar outlook—we’re open-minded Perth locals, social, outdoorsy, into yoga, well-travelled, and speak intermediate Spanish

The House Setup:
- One shared bathroom for three bedrooms
- Two extra toilets (in the hallway and laundry), so there’s no waiting
- Our master bedroom has its own ensuite and toilet
- We use air conditioning sparingly to keep costs down
- Ceiling fans in every bedroom and great sea-breeze flow
- A gas heater keeps the main living area cosy during Perth’s mild winter
- A quiet sitting room is separate from the main living area

Over time we’ve created a few simple, common-sense house guidelines that keep everything running smoothly and make the home a really easy, pleasant place to live.
