About the property

This is a cosy, rustic 1980's built house on a half acre block surrounded by trees & teeming with bird life... with a family of bandicoots living in the front garden! Easy walking distance to the Parkerville Tavern and walking trails. About 10 minutes to Mundaring town, 25 minutes to the airport, 45 minutes to Perth city.

This house has 4 bedrooms with separate living areas and practical layout. The shared living room has a woodstove and sliding doors out onto the broad terrace with lovely bush views and a barbeque. The bathroom is shared and the toilet is separate from the bathroom.

The house is freshly painted, and I will be doing further renovations and additions to the garden including veggies for the household to share.

The bedrooms are clean & comfortably furnished with beds, side tables and wardrobes, sheets and bedding are not provided and the bedroom has new carpet. Weekly rent includes utilities & internet.

There is a cat living in this house, so tenants must be ok with her and help ensure she does not escape outside to menace the native critters.

About the flatmates

This place will suit someone who appreciates living away from the bright lights of the city and gives a shit about the environment. I'm looking to establish a friendly, relaxed household with two easy going, considerate housemates who are happy to have a chat sometimes but also appreciate their own space and contribute to keeping the place clean.

I'm vegetarian, but I don't require my flatmates to be - just respectful of my choices will be good. I have only recently moved up here and am keen to start working on getting veggies growing in this huge garden... and I'm open to having housemates who would like to join me in the garden and grow some tasty, healthy stuff! I work full time in the city but love coming home to my peaceful paradise and taking long walks on the bush trails.

It's nice to enjoy a beer / wine some of the time, but not heavy drinkers... 420 friendly... thoughtful & positive mindset please!
