Hi, I’m Vicki! I’m looking for the right person to join me and my very loveable senior dog, Frankie, in my beautiful, light filled, spacious, modern four-bedroom, two-bathroom, double story home in Scarborough.
It's a 5 minute drive to Scarborough Beach and Karrinyup shopping center. Located in a quiet spot near Bennett Park, walking distance to shops, cafes, and public transport. There are also two beautiful parks at either end of this very quiet street.

The Room:
* Large master bedroom
*Private ensuite with large shower
* Generous walk-in wardrobe
* Furnished with a good quality comfortable king-size bed, two bedside tables and a chest of drawers.
* A quiet, comfortable space – ideal if you value privacy and a bit of extra room. (Room could accommodate a desk if needed).

The Home:
* Open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area
* Separate theatre room – great for relaxing, movie nights or sport on the big screen.
* Fully equipped kitchen with lots of bench space, dishwasher, and all the appliances - great if you like cooking! (which I don't, so it’s unlikely we’ll be under each others feet.)
* Laundry with washer, dryer, and separate toilet
* Undercover patio with decent lawn area –
* Secure remote garage parking available for one vehicle with a decent amount of shelf storage space.
* Bonus- I have a commercial reformer which I am happy to share if you’re a reformer Pilates lover like me.

About The Household:

I work full-time from home in my Small business. And because of my business, I spend most of my time here. I like to enjoy a quiet, calm, respectful and consistently clean home.
It is important to be upfront - shared living areas are to be kept clean, neat and tidy at all times. I can't stress this enough, this is non negotiable! If you are naturally tidy, considerate and value a peaceful home environment, this will suit you very well.
Because this is going to be a shared home rather than just a room rental, I am looking for someone who is going to be happy to help contribute in the general upkeep of the house. For example use the vacuum and alternate mopping the floor and lawn mowing with me.
This is NOT a party house. You’ll be sharing the house with me and my 7-year-old dog Frankie, so it’s really imperative that you’re a genuine dog lover because it’s extremely likely he’ll want to follow you around or bring you a toy. He’s friendly and chilled but definitely a big part of the household. frankie is getting old and has arthritis. And because of this he enjoys his creature comforts - despite having several beds, you may find him on his usual spot on the couch on his blanket. Frankie is a much loved member of the household and this isn't something that can be compromised on.

Who This Home Best Suits:
A full time working professional, with an active lifestyle who can enjoy a laugh and is independent, clean, and considerate. Non smoker and clear communicator who can chip in and respects shared living spaces.
Deal breakers - no parties, no smoking, no binge drinking, and absolutely no recreational or illicit drugs whatsoever.

The room will be available from 30th March. However, I am in no rush to fill it. My priority will be to find the right fit NOT a fast fit to ensure a comfortable and positive shared living arrangement for both parties.

The Details:
* $500/week (plus utilities)
* Single occupant is preferred
(however couples maybe considered for the right fit – $600/week)
* Available 30th March.
*Long lease available. however, I would prefer to start with 3 month, with a review and option to extend further a 6+ months to make sure we’re both happy and a good fit.
* Bond: 4 weeks’ rent ($2000).
*1wks rent in advance.
*Previous rental references required.
*Proof of employment required.

Important Screening Criteria:

About Me & Frankie -
Hi, I'm Vicki, I am 43, originally from the UK. I now run my own small business and work full-time from home Monday to Friday. I enjoy a calm, tidy and respectful environment, especially as I sometimes may work until 7:30pm during the week.

You’ll be sharing the house with me and my 7-year-old furchild Frankie, so it’s really important that you’re a genuine dog lover as he is my absolute world – he’s friendly and chilled and spends majority of his day sleeping whilst I work, but he is still definitely a big part of the household and will most likely want to follow you around. I am not looking for someone to be involved in any aspects of his care, just someone kind and considerate who may appreciate his love of human company and not be annoyed if he brings you his ball or a toy on an evening.

I am social, but due to the nature of my customer service roll and being on my feet all day, I am fairly low key during the week and like to wind down by enjoying a juicy Netfix series on the couch on an evening after a long day.
But when I'm not working, you'll usually find me at the park with Frankie, going for long walks along the coast, or meeting up with a community run club on the weekends. I love Pilates (that’s why I own a commercial reformer) great coffee, a good Acai bowl with a view, and never tire of going to the beach for a sunset.
I try to live a healthy, active lifestyle - I don't smoke and rarely drink (however I have been known to enjoy the occasional night out with friends and appreciate a good espresso martini). This bio makes me sound much more boring than I really am! - I am not too serious and I would like to think I have fun personality and good (sometimes slightly dark/dry British) sense of humour.
