Looking for a Live in Housekeeper

Please read this ad all the way through. If you are going to apply think hard about whether you have the necessary experience, maturity and are a NON SMOKER before you message me.
Not interested in stories that you only smoke outside or are giving up. (Sorry but this never agreement has never lasted)
This is a long term position for the right person.

I am offering a partial exchange of Accommodation and all the bills included for 5 hours per week help/exchange for Cooking, Laundry, Light housework. ($40ph) Your weekly rent would be $80
The use of a small car for a couple of hours per week may also be included by negotiation.
The work can be done to suit your timetable with no weekend work.
This position won't suit anyone working full time.
Must be a non smoker, mature, honest, clean and very experienced.
The $500 bond can be paid off.

I am 72, a retired Personal Counsellor, my Husband is a retired Electronic Engineer. We own our home and have provided accommodation here for new arrivals for the past 15 years. However, now I'm looking for a permanent (long term) housemate to exchange some help for a lovely private space. I am offering someone a supportive, friendly, stable, safe home and part time work.

You do need to have good cooking, communication and housekeeping skills.
I need someone very responsible as I am often away visiting family.
If you like gardening we have a lovely established garden on a large block to potter in.
We are fortunate to have a great weekly cleaner, handyman and gardener who do the heavy work.

Our home is large and has a beautiful fully equipped cooks kitchen and you'll have your own fridge and pantry. There is a large sunny/shaded patio, with outdoor kitchen, space to relax, pursue a hobby or have coffee/lunch with friends.

The pictures are of our guest room with a very comfortable king single, hi lo lift bed. Air conditioned with lots of storage/cupboards and a large desk. Fast unlimited NBN broadband internet included in the rent. Smart TV, netflix, printer/fax. Sorry but the room is furnished and no room for anything else.
Our house has 2 two toilets and 3 bathrooms.

Point Vernon on Demand bus comes right to the door when booked and drops you off outside the house on the way back.
We are 7 mins from the main shops in Town, University, Hospital and 3 mins walk to beaches, beautiful ocean views and bike/walking paths around Pt Vernon.

Please do not waste our time if you have serious addictions or are unstable. You won't fit in here. I don't tolerate abuse. Our home is our sanctuary. Solid references, police and background checks will be needed.

This position is for a single person only.
A small clean house trained female dog will be considered. No cats as we have birds visiting our garden.
