🏡 Looking for a new Housemate in Quindalup- Late Jan/ Early Feb
After 3 great years with my housemate Boof, his new home is now built YEAHAA. So the time has come to find a new housemate.
The house:
• 4x1 old 70s home in great condition
• Ocean views
• 1km to town
• Huge 6x8 garage with room for boards, tools, trailer or boat
• Spare room set up for guests/ winter laundry and other room is my office.
• Fully furnished just bring your bed (and a bigger TV if you want… Boof had the big dog telly, mine is the size of a computer screen and has been living in a cupboard for years)
💰 $360pw including bills
(Electricity, water, gas, internet, toilet paper & cleaning products)
You’ll be living with me and my super chill cat, Harry. He’s also happy to accept biccies when I’m not home.
Who you are:
FIFO or equivalent. Mostly single or FIFO couple on the same swing. Male or female. Open to kids. You’re friendly, easy going, independent and open minded.
Ideally no pets (no fencing), but I could be swayed for the right one with daily vacuuming rules for the hairy ones.
Looking for minimum 2 months, longer if we’re the right fit. Current lease runs until Jan 2027.
The vibe:
This is a mostly calm but sometimes busy, lived-in house. Always a clean, tidy, welcoming house the day you get home. These days it’s not a party house, but not silent either. Neighbours are all nice too.
About me:
Local business owner, 35, living in Dunsborough for 6 years. My work week varies a lot day to day I’m either out on site or in the office, with the occasional weekend away for event work. The neighbours (who are all lovely) describe me as “in and out, in and out”, which is pretty accurate.
When I’m not working I catch up with friends, go to the beach, think about playing golf or going to yoga and sometimes actually do it. I also enjoy the odd mid-week solo drink or five in town they’re rare these days and usually you won’t be home when I do. I spend a lot of time with my boyfriend and his two young kids and stay there a couple of nights a week. I also head to Perth to see family and escape winter for some warmth. So overall… in out, in out.
