About the property

I'm looking for a female housemate to share a spacious house in Rutherford.
Someone who is considerate and respectful.... someone who understands what it takes to make a home and will appreciate the space.
(If you are used to living in a messy sharehouse, with all due respect this is probably not for you)

The size of the room available is 3.64m * 4.29m.

The rent is $250 plus utilities.
Utilities are electricity, water filter replacements (probably every 9-12 months, for both the whole house water filter and the benchtop one), and internet (if using).

If you are a gardener at heart, I have a spacious front and backyard, where you can have some section to plant and grow your own stuff. The house is north east facing, ideal position to cultivate and grow.

One downside of my place is that it is on the main road, New England Highway. You will hear car noise from the street in your bedroom. Still, you can enjoy quietness in the living room at the back, looking out the tranquil backyard.
(Work has been organised and acoustic double glazing windows will be installed in bedrooms, as well as acoustic batts in roof space and subfloor area in coming weeks)

There is a bus stop right next to the house, and the Telarah train station is 400m away. Rutherford shopping centre is 1.4km away.

The room is unfurnished, and the rest of the house is furnished, with the exception of a dish washer.

Will be perfect for someone who needs space and real home with stability....

About the flatmates

I recently moved up from Sydney after years of dreaming of having a big backyard. I found this old house, built in 1947, on the main street of New England Highway, and fell in love with it instantly with its massive backyard positioned in generous land size and spacious internal space of the house.
I will be slowly and constantly working toward to make this old and a bit outdated house more comfy and lovable.
