My house is a very quirky, characterful property in a quiet little pocket of South Launceston. It is within walking distance of the city, 24 hour shops, bus routes, and the hospital.
The house has plenty of living and eating spaces, as two of the bedrooms are used as living spaces and there is a large kitchen/dining area.
There are two wood stoves and an open fireplace for cold nights, but the house is well insulated and provides a beautiful cool haven in the hotter months. I'm very creative and have many interests, so there are some paintings, musical instruments, books, and art materials dotted around the place. Despite this, I keep the place very clean and tidy and uncluttered, so it is always a restful yet inspiring place with a welcoming and homely vibe, and a vibrant, aesthetic charm.
The back garden is awesome, it's quite private and tucked away, overlooked by a wonderful little deck space where I spend my afternoons chilling with a cuppa tea after work with my pets.
The rental room is large, quiet, and relaxing, and enjoys sunset views across the tree tops and roof tops to the city and surrounding hills. It has plenty of wardrobe space, drawers, and a desk and chair, and its own recently renovated spacious and airy ensuite.
You would have full use of the shared living and eating spaces, and use on approval of a small bath in the second bathroom.
The $350/week rent includes all bills and fast internet access, $500/week for couples.

I am an artist, musician, writer, and researcher, and am currently working as a full time teacher. The family consists of me, a small parrot, a beautiful tabby cat, and a chook who lives outside. I love my animals, and you would need to love animals too!
I am sociable, friendly, easy going, accommodating, and generally bright and cheerful. I work a lot at home, but when I'm not at work I am happy hanging out, playing music, gardening, painting, exploring, trying to get back into going to the gym, watching movies, going out to see live music or movies or plays, dancing, community events and symposium. I'm happy to hang out with you, or to leave you be, I go with the flow and respect personal space and boundaries.
I'm an extremely respectful and accommodating housemate, I am houseproud and love to live in a really welcoming, relaxing, beautiful space, and would be happy to discuss whatever you may need to ensure everybody's time in the house is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
I'm originally from England, but I'm 100% Tasmanian now, I love Tassie and I love Launceston!
