The rented house is atop a hill in bushland so has great breezes. It is an older home with wooden floors and plenty of room - has front and back decks, covered parking and a dishwasher!

I am an older female older teacher, working at a local primary school. I love my work, which requires a good amount of preparation and follow up, so I am quite focused during the week and look forward immensely to weekends and breaks. Otherwise, the animals and exercising keep me busy. My down-time involves being with friends and family, watching quality movies and series, coffees, wines, music, eating out and keeping informed about the world - its messes (eg Trump...) and wonders. I am not at all fond of conspiracy theories, fluffly, inane nonsense, or entitled mindsets - leaning to the left most definitely in politics.
I have done masses of travelling but finances are restrictive now so it's now a rare pleasure. I enjoy keeping fit - either running, riding or swimming everyday, and walking the dog. My dog Walter is a very sweet cockalier and my daughter's two lovely cats - who are presently with me - are inside cats only, who have two short walks each day.
I separated from my husband over 10 years ago after losing our amazing property during the GFC and we are both renters now who plough on amidst prohibitive living costs and remain mates, helping each other always.
I have been vegetarian for most of my life so I definitely prefer to share a home with someone who either doesn't eat meat or is conscious of their intake.
