IMPORTANT:

We are only seeking short-term tenants for a period of approx 5 months maximum.
Tenancy would would end on the first weekend of July; so effectively 4-5th July 2026.

If you are International visitor or backpacker staying at the Sunshine Coast for a period of time, we have everything you may need for a comfortable stay.

EXPENSES:
This tenancy offer of $250 per week is inclusive of costs such as electricity, water and Internet utilisation. Any other expenses will be at your personal cost.

OVERVIEW:

One bedroom is available in a comfortable established home situated in the central suburb of Maroochydore.

The property is located close to the Sunshine Plaza, Cotton Tree Beach, and the Maroochydore Bus Station.

The bedroom is fitted with an air-conditioner, has large sized windows with slatted timber blinds, and a large built-in double wardrobe with shelving and hanging rail. The room size is approx. 2.95 metres square and is unfurnished, but we can supply a queen bed, a bedside table and timber drawers if required.

The bathroom has a shower, a small bath and a built-in vanity with drawers and shelves. The light fitting has heat lamps for those coolish Winter mornings.

The spacious kitchen features a dishwasher, fan-forced oven, microwave and TWO fridges. We have most kitchen items already, however there is space for your cookware and utensils if necessary.

The home has two living areas and there is space in the family room for additional furniture. The formal living room is fully furnished. If you have a dining table/chairs, we can place them in our empty dining space.

Additionally, there is a large covered patio for outdoor use.

About the flatmates

ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking a responsible person who has a friendly and relaxed demeanour along with a collaborative approach to sharing with other people.

Preferably you will be employed and be reliable with paying rent and misc. expenses on time.

You will be proactive in cleaning-as-you-go for your own mess and contribute to house-wide cleaning on an ad-hoc basis.

You must be accepting of other tenants who are LGBTIQ+. (We have had them in the past, as is one tenant currently).

If you are a party person at home or regularly bring friends over for noisy gatherings, this is NOT the place for you! Generally, this a quiet home environment to get away from the stresses of our busy lives. Of course, inviting friends over for a relaxed catch-up is perfectly okay.

No pets - sorry!

Illegal substances are NOT permitted at the property at any time (rental agency rules).

ABOUT US:

We are three people - two aged 60’ish, one male and one female (not a couple).
Our third tenant is a male in his 20's from the UK who staying on a working visa this year.

Andrew has been a tenant at the house forever. He runs the place and is responsible for everything. He is self-employed and has early starts and early afternoon finishes most days of the week. Andrew is easy-going and keeps a low profile at home.

Clare has been a tenant for the past 15 months and is the ambivert in the house. Although she likes to socialise, she is surprisingly low-key at home. Always up for a chat and enjoys a bake-up in the kitchen. Clare is Transgender and formally worked in the health sector in Canberra.

Max is from England and works in the hospitality industry. He is very sporty and is often out-n-about. At home, he is friendly and not a bother to anyone.
