THE LISTING
Room for rent in a fully furnished 2 bedroom

This sanctuary is one of the most quiet places you’ll find in Bondi. It’s a top floor apartment in a very calm and considerate residential building, off the street from either side, minutes to the beach and ideally located near all public transport. Parking is also really easy all around.

Think plants, art, loads of mirrors, calm and good vibes! Looking for someone like minded. Absolutely no parties. Clean, respectful, trustworthy and chill are the main requirements 🙂 I would prefer sharing with a girl but if you are a man ticking all the boxes I’ll consider your application.

Ideally located, close to literally everything: shops, cafés, restaurants, beach, icebergs pool. And public transport (bus 333) 1 min away. Also an easy walk to tama (10mins) and Bronte. Walkable to Bondi junction as well.

THE BUILDING
It's a beautiful red brick building, art deco, it's a small security blocks of 12 apartments. High ceilings. Ideally located, 1,5 blocks away from the beach, the start of the costal walk and icebergs.

THE APARTMENT
Fully furnished top-floor unit with coastal, peaceful vibes, welcoming atmosphere, massive open-plan living/lounge area into a very large dine in kitchen, cute little entryway, old school bath (with a bathtub), huge hallway with a floor to ceiling wall of mirrors. Both bedrooms are opposite to the street, you can’t hear any cars. Walls are large and you can't hear much throughout the apartment either. Flyscreens all over. Recent carpets. Internal laundry with Samsung washer. Dyson appliances. Fully furnished. Beautiful art. The main entrance also has security cameras for safety. Storage space throughout the apartment. Your suitcase can also easily be stored away from your room if you please. This is not a party flat, but rather a place to relax and unwind after a long day.

YOUR ROOM
The room is 5.5 meters long and a little over 2 meters wide, has 2 large windows and is very decent size for Bondi. The carpet has been redone not long ago, during my tenancy. The room is at the back of the building so it is very quiet at night time (ideal for light sleepers). The bedroom can either be empty or come with everything that is in it right now:
- queen bed frame with bed head and great quality mattress that was purchased new
- large double dresser
- a full length mirror
- x2 garment racks + hangers
- a laundry basket
- bed side lamp
Room can also be unfurnished depending on how long you'll be staying.

BATHROOM
The bathroom will be shared between the 2 of us but I like to get ready in my room so I'm always just in and out quite quickly.

YOU
Ideally you are female as I would prefer sharing with a girl but if you are a man ticking all the boxes I’ll consider your application.
You are planning on staying for a minimum stay of 6 months +
Clean, respectful, trustworthy and chill are the main requirements 🙂 Hopefully you are also considerate, mature, grounded and enjoy a positive, peaceful living environment. You are reliable and responsible, will pay rent on time.
No surprise late-night guests, no drunk 3am yelling. Just solid vibes and mutual respect where communication is key.

ME
I am the only other person living in the apartment. I am a 32 yo female, self employed, I have travelled extensively and I have lived in America, Europe and Singapore. I am a permanent resident, I have been residing in this apartment for over 5 years and really enjoy the quietness. This is my home and not just a house. I love a good chat in the kitchen or shared meal now and then, but I also value alone time and personal space. I go to bed early and wake up without an alarm. In my free time I enjoy costal walks, going to the gym, sound healing, pilates and good food.
