About the property
THE AREA
Our home is located off Mount Carmel Drive, Box Hill NSW - with a 3 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you straight to Rouse Hill Town Centre and Metro; and an easy 20min walk/5min drive to the shops (Mt Carmel Village with Coles, Aldi, medical centre, cafes and restaurants etc). We are a 10min drive to Tallawong or Rouse Hill metro. Our street is lovely and the neighbours all care for each other. The area is really great for taking walks.
THE HOUSE
With some family moving away, we would like to rent 2 of our spare rooms out to some lovely individuals.
*1 x room with queen bed and built in robes. $300pw
*1 x single room with single bed, built in robes, plus desk, bookshelf and drawers. $280pw
* You can use our theatre room as your extra space (living/lounge) during the day, and to watch something at night if you like (shared with us in the evening).
* Rent includes unlimited wifi and bills.
Photos attached. You may add any additional furniture, plants etc that you need and make the space your own.
Both rooms will share one bathroom (separate toilet, and bathroom with full shower and bathtub). You may have it to yourself until the other room is rented. If the second room is rented, you will share with that person, if not, it's all yours. We will not be using this bathroom at all. You also have access to another bathroom downstairs (with full shower), if you need. You also have shared access to the kitchen, laundry, and backyard.
LIFESTYLE
You have shared access to our theatre room (with projector and wall-sized screen and block-out blinds), which includes a state-of-the-art NordicTrack cross-trainer as well. You can use our Netflix account (for free). So, your gym and entertainment needs are cared for!
Come join us for any period of time, there is no minimum. Students and holiday makers are welcome.
WHO ARE WE
We are a Sri Lankan family - two parents (60s-70s) and daughter (30s), and our 14 year old dog who stays downstairs. We are three adults in total, all professionals who work fulltime. We would love to share our home with you.
Pls note:
- No pets as we have a dog who is treated as an 'only child' :D
- We will need a copy of your ID and a police check from the last 12 months.

About the flatmates
My name is Tara and I work in the not for profit sector in Sydney. Living with me are my parents and my 14yo doggy. We used to have so much family living with us but now with some changes, we have some empty rooms. We would love to rent these out.
We are all from Sri Lanka but have been living in Australia for 30 years. We cook good food, are fun to be around (if you would like to be around us), love to watch a movie etc. I also love to read and workout.
